Great company with a HUGE reputation in Europe. Yea, they are splitting birch and beech in these videos but that's the firewood of choice where they build these.

It’s sooooo beautiful. I need that in my life, but I do enjoy spitting wood myself using my axe and hatchet. I like the process and work of it. Again tho, that machine is awesome.

I would want to see how it does on real wood like hickory, oak, hard maple, or the dreaded elm. This demo is on soft wood. Yeah, no problem getting that thru your machine!

@jamierodg1 we typically use a guillotine style hydraulic splitter that will split blocks into 8 peices with 26+tonnes pressure and a huge circular saw to cut and split the incredible tough and twisted eucalyptus species that gets used as firewood here. Chains become blunt quickly and steel this thin would be twisted easily.

Be a great yoke to have in areas where they are cutting out forestry, so much timber is always left behind, maybe it was windblown or just not the right size
