Society often places a higher premium on empowering girls, which can affect boys’ self-esteem and confidence. Boys may struggle with feelings of neglect or inadequacy due to this imbalance. When boys feel marginalized, they may turn to negative coping mechanisms such as crime, drug abuse, or truancy. It’s essential to address their needs alongside those of girls.
