It’s clear that Hal did play the game but Reps wouldn’t as everyone kind of knew about for almost years now. There wasn’t that passion anymore and sometimes it happens and you give it a minute as it eventually restabilizes. But it just didn’t as it seems.

I get where raven is coming from in terms of success for the team. However there's is and always will be a counter argument to that style of coaching. Could raven been more understanding to the headspace of of big e and reps. Yeah if words didn't align with how they truly felt could it have okay for them to feel the way they did. Let’s do the math. Hal tells Evan and Jordan that his contract is up soon and he will only stay on the team if they do well at LAN. Raven evidently stops putting in the work because he knows Hal is probably leaving. In Evan and Jordan’s shoes the team morale was already low. With a IGL preparing to leave it would make sense to keep other options on the radar. That being said, anyone keeping up with recent TSM scrims knows the boys are putting in the work and playing almost every day. I not only believe that the passion is there, but Evan is also embracing his role as TSM’s new IGL. Don’t count the boys out yet.

I’ve seen a lot of people flame Evan and spread hate towards him and it’s honestly sad to see. What you have to understand is that it takes a large commitment to be a pro player especially with apex. Imagine playing the same game for years on end around 9 hours a day. Pro players lose their passion all the time so it’s not like this is anything new. Now I do think Evan is at fault for not communicating these things with his team but you can’t necessarily put the all the blame on Evan alone for TSM’s disappointing LAN performance. When you are held to such a high expectation it can be easy to crack under the pressure. This is a common thing with esports in general. You don’t see a single team always winning everything. There will always be highs and lows even for the best of the best. TSM lost as a team.
