I mean the data is also skewed. Because reps is an anchor, there are things he does that enable the rest of the team to either kill, finish downs, show presence, and keep key positions, when he’s on, he compliments Hal very well cause who else knows him better in terms of synergy? Sure there’s an argument of who’s better overall and we all know reps and Hal respectively had made a ton of mistakes, but I don’t think the numbers actually reflect the true “value” of a player

Seems Hal probably cares more about his teammates in real life than they care about him. This is easier for him to do because he was the one handing out the insults in-game. He doesn't have any reason to feel bad about his teammates outside of the game, unlike them, who might have started feeling negatively because of the way he treats them in-game😅

Big E started all of this with the "Raven fell off" comment. Also, Reps is the GOAT, he knows he didn't grind enough, (even though he never played that much) but also understands that maybe that era was over and they were all looking for an excuse for just leave, hence the result at LAN. Big E vs Hal would be the next rivalry. Teammates to rivals. Day vs Night. Feeling like lex luthor.

Honestly as a long time tsm viewer, I hated the whole PR no bad blood between us act they were putting up initially. To any long time viewer who understood the type of people we were dealing with there was so obviously a great deal of resentment and yet I would read so many chatters all propagating this lie and maybe they did just believe it was truthful but it still fucking pissed me off. This whole unveiling of the curtain is so refreshing and vindicating, so god I hope reps can stop with the sidelines act too now, get some fire back with Evan and Jordan so they can kick FLCNs ass come this split. Bottling their true feelings on the TSM breakup will only hinder their performance further.

Hal is toxic and there is no argument on that. It's totally healthy for a person to not be ok with that kind of behavior, make no mistake. People think that, because someone is successful, it's also ok what they do but it's not - and Hal is successful on what he does partially for the wrong reasons. Talking shit and talking down on your team like they are lesser than you is not ok. It's fun for some of the audience but it's not ok.

I think the biggest problem was the way Hal insulted them. Not the yelling not calling them out on their mistakes and being mad. It was the insults. In Mexico we have a saying, “entre broma y broma, la verdad se asoma.” Which translates to, joke after joke, the truth peeks through. Hal might say he doesn’t mean it, but saying it on the regular shows otherwise. Hal is great, it’s ok to yell and expect nothing but the best, but insulting someone on a personal level ain’t it.

He has been yelled at constantly without the freedom to speak out about it publicly because it would completely destroy the team dynamic. He's now finally able to get shit off his chest. People blindly taking Hal's side are wild. Hal is the goat, he is insane and the reason TSM were TSM. But it doesn't mean his approach, no matter if it is from a place of passion, was correct or professional. Screaming and insulting your teammates is not the only way to give passionate feedback OR get the best out of them. Alb for all his past tantrums and rage quits, this was such a mature take on the situation and also self reflection. When you’re in a team, doesn’t matter if it’s sports, esports, engineering, whatever - you want to surround yourself with people who push you and challenge you. Hal goes overboard with the insults and can become borderline toxic but if I’m not the leader and I want the best money and all the trophies, I would rather have a passionate leader who expresses the dissatisfaction. I don’t watch Hal anymore but watching current TSM, they are certainly lacking this leadership.

Sad tho, on the hand of respect verhulst didn’t have to say that, yet he respects himself and that shows strength. Y’all gotta remember despite Hal’s clear talents and passion to win, he was never the nicest igl, far from it. We could argue about the stress Hal had to go through by being igl for tsm however that doesn’t exactly excuse all the verbal abuse he put the tsm boys through over the years. I can tell from the sound of reps voice he wants to really say some shit, but he respects everyone’s career and choices over the drama. All in all , verhulst is lan proven well respected and more than earned his way to where he is today, I say let the man cook and talk his shit the way he feels without getting roasted for it. Honestly big L for Hal on this one in my opinion.

Everyone really just trying to make this into like a Shaq & Kobe feud in the mid 2000s. It's entertaining but I don't think there is a lot of beef here. They still live together. Hal is an ultra-competitor and it is a double edged sword. It drives him to be great but the negative is him being very hard on his teammates to drive them to the same success he wants. Evan knew what he was getting into when he signed. Does Hal go over the top sometimes in his criticisms? Yes. Are others in the apex community or chats egging on this spat with "he said she said" messages to get them to talk shit. Absolutely. They had their amazing run together so I think they are both fine with how it turned out even if the split is a little emotional.

People need to realize that verhulst is 100% valid for his opinions, Ab feels the way he feels for regret about tsm because of the outcome. Nobody says you need to be "soft" or kind to your teammates as an IGL, but dont call them a retard, and insult them personally 24/7 without going straight into what they do wrong. Stop pretending like hal is so right for yelling, nobody cares if he yells, people don't like hal insulting them as a person when youre supposed to be friends at the end of the day. Be a leader and direct your teammates in a better direction. Your friends should come out of it feeling ashamed for the play, own up to mistakes, not feel like theyre a dogshit player when you know theyre not, obviously if you put them on your team. Christ, im tired of people going over the main points and pretending as if Verhulst is just randomly exploding, everyone can watch one game of playing with hal and understand 100% of what Verhulst is saying. Playing with hal sucks so much to the point that winning just does not feel worth it. if your igl makes you feel like that then why even play. Verhulst hated playing the game because of hal, he wasnt lazy, wasnt dedicated, his hate of the game stemmed from hal because of hal constantly insulting him. Hal has no filter so I don't see why Verhulst should. personally.

I get the mentality comparison when it comes to winning but you guys are taking the actions of Hal with his teammates and comparing that to MJ. Basketball is a physical sport. These guys are freak athletes who can handle stuff like this better than any gamer. MJ was shit talking 6’8 muscular tough guys. Hal is shit talking gamers that don’t have many in person interactions. Most of you get too emotional over this. Stop comparing basketball and apex actions 😂

Evan nuked his career in my eyes, I was a big fan of his but after this situation I can't say that. Always love TSM and their legacy is cemented in my heart, Hal along with Reps are both my forever goats and they both handled the situation really well though I do agree with Zer0 that Hal is going a little far but Evan crossed that line first when nothing ever had to be said. Alb's segment of this vid was hard and also nice to watch, it was hard to hear him admit his faults but nice to see his reflections and maturity into a better self. I've been one of the biggest fans of his since day 1 and supported him through everything even when he first left Tsm. It's sad that Evan is going down this route, it will be really hard for him to win again and he knows it. He completely ruined his image in my eyes

What did he say that was so bad? Did you even watch his video the man said how he felt playing with Hal and being honest about it and the snowflake Hal can't take that into perspective and see what every one was saying all these years that he needs to chill TF, no he goes into rage mode while he talks constantly how dog shit Evan and Reps were .......

Apex pro scene is high school, if your “popular,” everyone will agree with you(Hal). If you’re a nerdy loser who likes the chiefs people will hate you

Crazy how we’re still having to unpack the idea of Hal. E-girl/Esport babies need to get on a football team and see what it’s really like to be scolded. Especially a WINNING TEAM. the softness in this community is baffling.

Hal was way too toxic towards a 18yr old kid and still is. His quite literal baby raging fits were so cringe and the only reason I didn't like imperial Hal as a gamer. Toxicity gets to the other players when it's fucking constant. How does Evan go from being the undisputed #1 roller player to "I wanna quit the game"? Yeah that shit doesn't just happen for no reason

Hal is a freak. Could even be labeled as abuse. Honestly. Evan looks alot happier now he can be himself and play the game without being afraid of getting yelled at

the mac and evan shit isn’t comparable lol. mac is a crash out who would yell back at hal and snipe did too. evan never did that and just waited for hal to leave.

When it come to hal you have 2 choices; take this hate to fuel you and get better or let it get to you and feel bad about it. Same thing goes for everything in life. Of course its annoying in the moment but i dont think hal mean to be that way in a negative way

you're missing one major thing, and that thing is the ego. When another person tells you that you are an idiot, you cannot accept it, because the person who tells you this is weaker than you as an individual player.
