It’s the same as a lineman bruh. They don’t ever get any of the credit, and that’s not what they are there for. They are there to show up and do a job while the receivers and quarterback get all the praise. If a team isn’t doing well, the quarterback takes all the flak. If they are doing well, the quarterback gets all the credit. It’s a double edge sword. I’m not saying reps isn’t good, I’m just saying that Hal has been the ceo for like 3+ years now and he’s been relevant for all of them. Has never been overrated and has always been worth the hype. Adding raven was perfection. Having a third party to mediate disagreements and give a higher level/outside perspective is essential at the highest level. Raven does it very well and can stand up to Hal. I think that may be where dz is hurting right now, zeroes ego is unchecked. You're talking about two different skillsets entirely. Dizzy, Mande, Aceu, Timmy etc....they are the greatest anchors, have insane reactions/aim/movement and excel in fast-twitch scenarios. Hal, Zer0, Noct' etc..these are the leaders, they understand macro better than any other players and are able to focus on small details during the biggest moments. Every type of player is important to creating a championship team, you need your anchor, leader and fragger. Zero would never win without Gen'. Hal would never win without Jord/Alb/Snipe/Verhulst. You guys are debating two completely different skillsets. All the mentioned players are amongst the best for almost entirely different reasons.

I have the same argument as some is having. The LANs that TSM had won with Albralelei; most of those were invitational & not every region did get to participate on those. There were only 4 LANs which were held between all the regions + by ALGS and DZ won 3 of them. So, if you're talking about the value, Zero is ahead by a lot. Man has almost same amount of winning money as Hal but just from 4 tournaments. But Hal will remain as the most consistent IGL in Apex & he is still among the top 3 IGLs in the game.

Stop saying crap... Poland LAN was pretty much the same thing as ALGS LANs, the best teams from all over the World competed for a big prize money, Zer0's team included and they placed 67th. To take away TSM Early LAN wins is arbitrary and pick choosing. What about all the ALGS Regional Finals, Pro League and such, GLL tournaments, etc that TSM won? There is more to the game than just LAN tournaments...

You're making fun of yourself by comparing thosee GLL/invitational tournaments with ALGS tournaments. Those playoffs were basically for a singular region + wasn’t LAN. Even Scarz & KNG won the Championship (not playoff) but those weren’t LAN + organized for a singular region. TSM won those early tournaments & that's why they're still the biggest name in Apex + have a huge fan base. There was only one ALGS Championship LAN which was held between all the regions and DZ won that. There were 3 playoffs for LAN and DZ won 2 of those, TSM won 1.

Match point format has much more "luck" involved than the group stages. I think TSM showed a lot of dominance throughout the tournament and are the best team right now because of that. But a win is a win, and that makes the conversation a bit less objective. Congrats to DZ tho.

Would you call them the best team in the world? DZ got 1st in 1 of the 3 stages of the tournament (that happens to be the most important one) but were 4th in group stage and 8th in bracket. Tsm were 1st, 2nd, and 2nd. I don't think it is disrespectful. They won, congratulations, they were the best team in the finals, and they deserved the win. But they were not the best team in the overall tournament.

Even on this lan, look at the stats, the most points achieved by any team: TSM, the second and third players with most kills... you guessed it, TSM. What I can easily say is that they are the best team in MP format, but definitely not the best team overall.

The first lan they won, they should’ve been dead but optic threw hard and focus LG for some stupid reason. I am not saying Hal is better than Zero, or the other way around, but let’s just make some things clear. Zero has 3 ALGS LANs, Hal has barely 2 (the Poland one isn’t at the same level). Second, the casters were saying sth along the lines of TSM and DZ back and forth, that didn’t happen. DZ won 2 back to back, TSM won 1, then DZ won the next one, if TSM wins the next one, we get a back and forth, otherwise currently we have a DZ dominance with TSM taking 1 away from them. And Yes, Hal leads in earnings, but that includes Twitch Rivals and all those other content creator tourneys that Zero didn’t partake in because either he was in APAC or not invited, due to his lack of popularity. Now I don’t know who is the better player, what I know is that Zero leads in actual LAN wins.
