Finally I found this music demo from the C-64! I always remembered it had something to do with Rob Hubbard, but I never found it, until now. Ah, the memories of childhood and this cool music on the TV/computer.

They're supposed to be the hi-toms from the drum set. Since it's a digital drum set, they can have virtually any shape you want and in the 80's it was en vogue to make them hexagons.
