Hi Sis..glad that u know some of the vendor or rather all the stalls there do not carry/have halal cert wit them...tteboki,eumok,sundae n some other snacks that uses pork/pork broth as it ingredients..might want to think twice b4 eating it..and like u say the meat/poultry best to not buy...been there many times and it seems more n more "halal" stalls are showing the halal mark..ask b4 u buy...if they r unsure..there r many proper, muslim friendly restaurants/marts wit halal cert..god bless..this topic has been an issue for quite some time..just ask n becareful b4 u eat...have a safe trip..

I discovered these three unique types of muslim during my stay in Korea. 1). Good-Quality-Muslim: They eat only halal meat of halal animals and avoid meat of forbidden animals (non-halal). They only go to halal restaurants. Also, if they visit the local Korean restaurant / Burger King / McDonald's, then they eat only shrimp and sea foods. However, they don't know that all beef burgers, pork burgers, chicken burgers, and fries all are fried in the same oil pan. This is barely 5% of the total Muslims population living in Korea. 2). High-Populated-Muslim: This type of muslim eats the meat of a halal animal but doesn't care whether it is slaughtered in a halal way or not. They eat beef/chicken/mutton from any halal and non-halal restaurants, but they avoid haram meat (pork and dog, etc.). They go to Burger King/McDonald/KFC and eat everything except pork. This type of muslim contributes 85% of the total Muslims population living in Korea. 3). Secular Muslim: They don't care about anything. They eat whatever pig/frog/dog/cat/alcohol/soju/beer comes in front of them. Mostly, they are married to a Korean or have to eat at least two meals with Korean colleagues at the workplace. This is 10% of the Muslims living in Korea.

Utk food street: namdaemun & myeongdong. Tapi hati2, eventho dorg letak tanda halal be cautious jgn mkan apa2 yg ada sosej, ayam, dgg. Klu nak mkan ayam dgg, beli kebab kat shah kebab (myeongdong, gerai dia depan forever 21). We olls makan yg vege n seafood ja. Kat gangnam blh cuba The Halal Guys (ada dua cwgan actually- gangnam & itaewon) Kat itaewon byk kedai kebab. Km nk cuba pizza (Halal Pizza Itaewon) sebenarnya tapi kedai tu ttp plk. Km mkn mr kebab tp Kervan pon sedap jgk (we try kt incheon airport- satunya kedai halal dlm airport). Kat Samcheongdong km try The Halal Guy. Kedai dia tersorok sikit, kena tny2 org kt situ n dia tutup rehat dr pkl 3-5pm. Kat Hongdae (Hongik University) blh cuba Yang Fang Chicken. Nami Island km try Asian Cuisine Dongmoon. Potion dia banyakkkk. Kat myeongdong byk kedai halal jgk tapi sbb km fokus utk street foods kat situ, so x p pon try kedai2 situ.
