The most accurate part of this is how shit the brakes on those milk floats were, I used to drive one and unless you wanted to slow down REALLY SLOWLY, you needed to stand up and put your full body weight on the brake pedal.

A milkman's job is pretty dangerous these days, despite the relative safety of his delivery vehicle. You never know when a 75 year old lady on a three-wheeler will insist on putting her order in for more of what makes you hale and hearty.

You can tell someone was actually climbing onto the roof of the milk float, all looked as though no risk assessment had taken place whatsoever with any of it really, and thats why it was entertaining. Could have gone wrong at any point in that scene, an accident waiting to happen but nothing went wrong, nobody got hurt so no problem. Nowadays can you imagine setting this up ? Pages and pages of H and S crap, letters to all the residents with disclaimers, actors signing shitloads of paperwork, consent forms, making a will etc
