Yes, it was the same for me too. This must've been on around the late 80s, early 90s, in the Sunday night slot where you had bullseye on at teatime, maybe highway, on just before or after, catchphrase with Roy walker, Howard's way on the other side, maybe lovejoy too. Great times them

I loved these two. Early this year norman came into the theatre he was playing and i was luckily working on stage door. Had to say i was quite starstruck,and usually i am not . Very nice chap

The best scene I remember from Hale & Pace was when they sang, It’s utterly, utterly nasty to be ginger. Google it and watch it right through. The Dunking Ginger Nuts part got me. Very funny. 😂🤣

There was a pub in Camberwell called The Nags Head I would venture into from time to time. There were lots of these types of people there. The pecking order was as obvious as day and you were expected to know where you stood despite it not really being written down.
