How to release the one who is releasing? When I sit down to releasing im blocked by thinking - but there is no doer so who is doing the releasing? The sense of doership? That one is tricky for me to get beyond the veil

No. It means happiness is something you can choose and happiness will not be dependent on what you own if that's what you choose. It is up to you to find out if that's true or not, again, your choice.

​@@MariaGarcia-uo7if Just look at the material world. There are poor people who are happy and rich people who are unhappy, and everything in between. If what you own is what creates happiness, when you have more than you need to survive you should be happy and satisfied. Sure, you could get more things, but you would be happy even if you didn't get them all. There are many videos from Hale for free here, the best thing would be to watch them, follow along listening and answering the questions and see how you feel. Even if you think it is not for you, he has podcasts with other teachers in his channel and you can find one that you resonate with.
