Outstanding ride and video. That you rode it through together and were still talking to each other at the end on the occasion of your 5th anniversary , you will celebrate many more together!

Lol it's probably top 2 or 3 hardest climbs in the world you could not have possibly thought it would in any way be easy. Nicely done, good job

Hey thanks for watching! I think what made it even harder was the loose gravel section. The next day we rode to the top again through the paved climb and it wasn't bad at all.

@@lifesagem can you recommend a good bike case for traveling by airplane? I’m thinking of traveling with my gravel bike but I’m concerned that it will get damaged on the trip.
@lifesagem9 ай бұрын
@@singletrackflow I've never opted for a dedicated bike case; instead, I head to my local bike shop and request a cardboard box used for packaging bikes. I supplement it with bubble wrap and PBC insulation to ensure the frame's protection. It's a cost-effective approach since bikes are originally packed this way. If you don't feel confident packing it yourself, you can have the shop do it for you.

@@singletrackflow I've flown multiple times with stops to change planes using an EVOC Bike Bag Pro. I know more than a few pro gravel/MTB riders that use them as well. You still take off the rear mech, and use pipe insulation/bubble wrap. Also take disc off wheels, pedals, etc. Lots of good videos on how to pack in a box or a bike case.
