Here are some major differences between Trump and Vivek if you are still deciding: 1. Vivek has a strong understanding of the constitution and laws, while Trump failed in his first term, being misled by "experts." Trump has yet to acknowledge his shortcomings and focused on the legislative branch instead of utilizing presidential powers to their full potential, such as focusing on repealing Obamacare which requires congress. In contrast, most of Vivek's talking points emphasize what the president can do without Congress. 2. Vivek has a better connection with the younger generation as a self-made entrepreneur and author of multiple books, serving as a role model who can inspire more young people. Trump, on the other hand, has failed to attract the youth vote, with most of the younger generation leaning Democrat. 3. Vivek is more well-read, well-spoken, and intelligent, approaching issues in a unifying and relatable manner, as seen in his podcasts and conflicts with protesters. Trump's approach is cruder and more divisive, a concerning factor given the current societal tensions. Like or not, just the mention of Trump makes a huge portion of the population go insane. 4. Vivek is self-funded, allowing him to speak on issues like eminent domain and removing affirmative action. In contrast, Trump is beholden to his donor class (Super PACs), which may demand a "return" on their significant investments in Trump's legal cases and campaign. 5. Vivek promises to shut down corrupt government agencies, while Trump advocates for a new building for the FBI. 6. Vivek is more energetic, with almost 350 events last year, including virtual summits and podcasts, compared to Trump's 30 events. Trump's legal battles have further drained him. 7. Vivek does not play the victim; his campaign is based on gratitude, while Trump's campaign and supporters seek vengeance, relying on a strategy centered around playing the victim. 8. There is a good chance that Trump will go to jail before elections, potentially embarrassing Republicans and subjecting the entire country to ridicule. Vivek, with a stronger background, is better equipped to handle attacks and leaves less room for mistakes. 9. Vivek has a plan to improve education in the USA, involving shutting down the Department of Education, which the DOE is unconstitutional. He believes education should be managed by the states, not the federal government. 10. Vivek understands issues related to AI and Bitcoin that may be challenging for someone of Trump's age to grasp. 11. Vivek's border policy is better than Trump's, as he plans to finish the wall and use the military to secure it, including the northern border. 12. Vivek serves as a better example for the need for a father figure in the house, 13. Vivek's mental health plan is comprehensive, providing a tangible strategy to address the issue, unlike others who merely acknowledge the need without a plan. 14. Vivek's education plan, which allocates sufficient funds, could allow for the placement of 2-3 officers at every school, reducing school shooting incidents. 15. Vivek has engaged with truck drivers, an important demographic in the USA, to develop plans that would benefit them. 16. Vivek plans to strengthen the country's defenses, including acquiring an "Iron Dome," relocating troops to borders, and investing in space, EMP, cyber, and missile defenses. He is also the only candidate addressing the threat posed by the China/Russia alliance. 17. Vivek recognizes the importance of hands-on jobs like farming and welding, suggesting that not all roles require a college degree. He emphasizes the need for a diverse workforce that includes skilled labor. Feel free to share

His point was that Martha Vineyard was full of Hippocrates, regarding Sanctuary Cities. They say one thing, but when it impacts them negatively, they scream another, As Expected! Probably more of a "GotCha" moment for Republicans to cheer about, but it was not meaningful. Light years from any solution to the border problem. His solution was, when I am President, I will do what Trump said he would do. I will build a wall, and make Mexico pay for it. To paraphrase a comment made by Burt Reynolds's character in a scene out of 1974 movie, "The Longest Yard "": Didn't Work Once. Won't work again. Nikki Haley jumped to a different and more interesting solution. Unlike Trump, she recognized the problem was not what Mexico does. She wants to send the Armed forces to control the gang problems in the Central American countries where most of the immigrants originate, Interesting solutions, but no one has effectively solved this, YET!

Absolutely true but you have to admit that there is a broken system. Look just how long the backlog of applications is out there for people doing it the legal way. At the rate where countries like Mexico would rather kill people from Guatemala or Honduras instead of providing them any sort of asylum is what already puts immigrants in danger. They’re not safe at their home country, they’re not safe in Mexico, but the US allows for asylum seeking. The reality is we’re not utilizing funding to get the staffing needed to vet these applicants and get them on their way toward the path of citizenship. The turn around time for a US citizen to get a passport or even Global Entry is a couple of weeks. Why are we several years behind on applications for citizenship and processing turnaround? 18-24 months currently is the short supposed average but they’re going to keep piling up. A wall isn’t going to do anything and you can’t have a wall on the entire southern border. There are parts of that land that wouldn’t sustain one. Even if a wall was completed, then we’re talking millions of dollars to “maintain” it because it won’t be a set it and forget it type of thing. It will need upkeep, repair, etc. and companies know they can charge obscene amounts for government contracts and get away with it. Everyone seems to have supposed ideas to help combat this but their efforts are to stop migrants entirely thinking they will see a wall and turn around. They will likely die from dangerous conditions to or from the supposed wall or they will die of dehydration and starvation because that was their last resort. If they really had a home to go back to, would they be roughing it trying to find ways out of their countries, bypassing potentially worse situations, in the hopes of survival on the other side?
