Haley Odlozil Gives Sentimental 'Goodbye' Gift To Her Mother-in-law Days Before She Died

People have different ways of coping and handling the life-altering situation that occurs when a loved one is dying. Taylor Odlozil, a father from Texas, began regularly sharing his wife Haley's story to TikTok.
Haley was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a week before Christmas in 2015. The high school sweethearts started dating in September 2008 but had yet to be married before receiving the heartbreaking news.

Omg this is so sad . I lost my husband. And for 14 years, I took care of him after the effects of 9/11, who is the first responder and day and day out I was by his side, so I know this heart wrenching story I get it, but she’s with Jesus now holding her hand No more pain and now she’s an angel watching down on us and I’m sure my husband is holding her hand and gotten her way through the streets of heaven. Haley fought so hard, it was heartbreaking to watch, and yet they have so many beautiful and moving videos to share with Weston. That little boy has been so, so sweet, so full of love and empathy for his Mommy. He will never wonder if his Mommy loved him, because it was so clear in every single video! If love could have saved her, Haley would have been the healthiest Mama. Now she is healed, she has a new and perfect body in Christ! And she will be reunited with Taylor and Weston! Haley had a beautiful faith, I pray that through her bravery and love, others will see Jesus Christ and be drawn to Him! Jesus is the door - through which we all have to pass if we are to enter into heaven! Jesus paid the fine for our sin on the cross - all He asks is that we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and that we repent and turn away from our sins! That simple yet it makes an enormous difference as those who are saved will never die, but live eternally with Jesus Christ, those who choose not to, face eternal separation from God, as well as the lake of fire! I can assure you that this world will become a distant memory when faced with eternity! Please honour the memory of Haley by considering where you will spend your eternity.

My issue with these videos is they are not fully accurate. She did not give those gifts a few days before her passing. She actually put up a good fight for a while after the fact. The videos of her in the hospital are old. I think it’s just kind of insensitive to curate your own video of someone else’s loss for views. Any real update or story about Haley’s journey is solely posted by her husband. I’ve seen quite a few videos like this since her passing. If we want to celebrate her life or mourn her passing it should be at least accurate depiction of her final days or fight during her journey of having cancer.

I do not know this family except through seeing Haley's struggle on KZbin. However, if was very evident she loved her family and friends fiercely, as they did her. She fought until the end and had the most beautiful soul. Her husband, son, and all those who loved her have my deepest sympathy at her passing.
