The holidays this year will be a bitch, with mom gone, she died this May, it still hurts. I am really struggling with her death. Not only that, at her funeral j was a crying mess, my friend was there to support me, he was awesome. Grief takes ti.e to pass. I think that if you are religious, whatever religion it is, talk to the priest, minister, rabbi, or whatever clergy is there at your church, they can conceal and comfort you in your grief. I am meeting with a priest this coming Wednesday. I think it will help me feel some closure.

My mother was my cheerleader. Paid for singing lessons. When my mother needed help from her 5 children and I asked my siblings to help they turned their backs. I alone cared that my mother needed help and when she died those same siblings didn’t show respect I alone sat by her casket before cremation with my mother in a plastic gown all her clothing smelled of urine. Alone I sang to her using those singing lessons alone I saw her beautiful face and kissed her. Alone still I grieve the best person I’ve ever known. The childhood home I spent most of my life in and visiting has been destroyed. My siblings are stealing and discarding my mothers things into a dumpster. My mother was an artist they threw a painting in the dumpster I had to save from the rubble. I was denied access to have things that reminded me of her very important life. Alone I cry every day. Mom you were worthy of more than they gave. I will forever love you and keep your memory alive. 😢

Edit 2 - For God's sake don't yourself assume that I don't have Mom. From his grace we all are fine and in good health. I wrote this message to those people who don't value their mom and treat her like she is some thing and not human. Again I didn't wrote this for gaining sympathy or anything but I wrote this for spreading love towards your mom. I don't know which religion you people are but I do respect to all of them and your positive comments too so please don't make assumptions by reading these lines and making different meaning from it. This is so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I'd like to say though that there are mothers who are step mothers in adopted mothers, other mothers, who give so much and aren't always appreciated not that they do it for appreciation but out of love. I was adopted pre birth, lost my adopted mother at 8, my dad remarried when I was 9 to an incredible woman who had a lot to deal with and I thank her and all of them every day. Along the way those other mothers came into my life and their guidance and love remain invaluable. I don't have adequate words to explain my love for each and every one including my biological mother who gave me up but came to see me until I was 3 and then stopped because she didn't want to confuse or interfere. But she always knew through an aunt how I was. My mom and dad were always open about my adoption and I never doubted I was loved. So to all the mothers thank you forever. ❤❤❤❤❤

@@Doris-y5vthe Bible makes clear that God has no gender and is neither a man nor woman Our pastor said you can also pray „heavenly mother“ if that feels better you - whatever parent you are closer to. Some kids don’t have a dad or not a good one so praying to a father might does not feel good for them and ofc the other way around when you got an abusive mom But the Bible talks so poorly about women so often that I wonder as a man why you would ever support it any way☠️ trusting a good that talks about woman in so many disgusting ways like when a man rapes a woman it’s says „(…) you shall stone them to death, the young woman bc she didn’t cry for help .. and the man bc he violated his neighbors wife“ (only if a women is engaged) If she’s not „the man who lay with her should give 50 shekels of silver to the young woman’s father and she shall become his wife“ Ephesians 5:22-23 Or If a betrothed virgin is raped in the city and doesn’t cry out loud enough then „the men of the city shall stone her to death“ (Deuteronomy) If you see a pretty woman among your captives and would like her for a wife then bring her home and „go in unto her“. Later if you decide you don’t like you can simply can „let her go“ (Deuternomy) It also says say if a man marries a woman and then decides he hates her he can claim that she wasn’t a virgin when they married Paul points out in the New Testament Romans that „the natural use“ of women is to provide men with sex and sadly those are not even the worst.. so why again do you think God even like women and wants the best for them when he literally justifies rape and then the women is used and need to be stoned to death.. think about that again when you talk about the fatherly love of God☠️

I wish my 4 kids who are alive and who have shut me out could see this. I am 70 and I had my kids young so I could still be young when they were adults…..and instead they don’t want me in their life and I am alone. my worth to them is zero and they have not spoken to me in YEARS. My oldest daughter has not spoken to me in 26 years. Can you imagine that? I gave them so much and I tu up with so much abuse from their father and I don’t understand their attitudes that would be so strong to write me off. If your parents are alive, no matter how old you are, be good to them…they gave you life….they tried to teach you good things…..they love you. Make peace with your parents because once they are gone, God will make sure you never forget how you treated them. I am 70. I adored my MOM and i was good to her. I have only wonderful and happy memories of my life with her. WHAT WILL YOU HAVE?? Please take this advice from a Mom who gave it all and has no one to show for it. Be good to your mom.

It is the generation of kids in today’s world and it is so painful. If I thought all my 4 kids would turn against me and not explain what the heck is going on…..I never would have had kids. To go thru this kind of pain and rejection is a horrific pain. I pray. Someday they will wake up but it could be too late. 26 years is a long time to wait for a beloved child to come to her senses.

My Mother passed 05-31-2024 at 10:35 PM. I am in so much pain from her loss. I lived with my Mom for 36 years. On a Friday she was in a terrible accident where she fell in the shower and accidentally turned on the hot water. I hear a loud noise upstairs but I didn’t know it was her. I hear another noise and I run downstairs. The water wasn’t going down the drain fast enough. So when I saw her she didn’t say anything about the water until I set her back down. By that time the water did serious damage. She passed away just two weeks later for her injuries. I love you so much Mom. And I am so sorry I didn’t get to you faster. I hope you can forgive me. I miss you so much. I hope to make you proud. I love you Mom.

I just realised that my mum never told me she loved me. I wish I had a mum who cared. Worst thing is she lives round the corner and doesn't bother with me. I've been living on my own since I was 16 and have been in the same house for 10 years since. I was beaten, had washing up liquid forced down my throat, was threatened with foster care by her. Now she lies about everything she's put me through and my ex is giving her access to my 2 daughters behind my back, against my wishes. She went as far as to force feed my 13 year old brother at the time to swallow raw rolling tobacco when they found out he was smoking. Forced me to watch my brother suffer with a burning stomach potentially killing him as a warning to me too. This video made me tear up but I wish I could relate and it's incredibly depressing... Sorry for the life story but still, lot's of love to those that have never had a loving family or parent and I want you all to know that you're not alone. Ever. You won't be the first and you definitely won't be the last. We are stronger than the public realise. Don't be angry at the world for not understanding you. It's literally impossible for the human mind to understand something it hasn't experienced. Muscle memory is a huge factor too. When something hurts you and you have anxiety attacks or sudden depression, just know that your body eventually builds a defense to it and you mature a stronger person. Hence the "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Life only really makes sense when you've experienced heartbreak, betrayal, love and no money, at the bottom. So love your hardest and forgive everyone who has hurt you. Their ignorance for your feelings should not determine their character, only their experience and upbringing. For them to understand us, we have to understand them. Trust yourself and go with your feelings. It's your body telling you if it's right or wrong. I hope you all have the best life you possibly can regardless of situation. Again sorry for the essay but if you get down here then thank you for taking the time.

@rara pie If there's any advice I can give you from experience, is to trust yourself before you trust anyone else. You can have a friend for 10 years and then they turn around and stab you in the back. So always trust yourself and keep your circle very small. Organise the people in your life like you do with bills and finances. Good, bad, work, family, romantic etc. Prioritise accordingly and ALWAYS trust your gut feeling. Your bodys main purpose is to keep the mind alive right? So if your body is telling you something is off, enquire about said feeling then choose how you're going to react based on their response to your feelings. People make life more complicated than it needs to be so everyone is striving to be perfect when in reality perfect doesn't exist. You take your first and last breath alone, what happens in-between really is down to you and your genetics.

I wish I had parents like this. Ive seen my mom once in the past 9 years. She's so cold sometimes. We only live a 2 hr flight away, yet I could never count on her. She didnt even come see me, or care to come help me, when I gave birth to my baby. I even asked her. She just makes excuses for everything. She and my dad wouldn't even babysit for me for a few hrs a day, so I could go to school.

Someone in my school, their mother passed away a week ago in a car crash. We was in assembly and teachers just came rushing in crying. We all got really scared and thought there were terrorists in the school. The boy who’s mum died was called out to the office. He was told him mum had died. He came back in assembly to get his stuff and leave and the look on his face just made me burst out crying. I was told yesterday that his mum was dead by my cousin. That’s when I truly started crying. The boy who lost his mum fell into depression and stopped coming to school. Watching this made my heart melt and now I’m just a puddle of tears on the sofa. This is another story. My dads mum died when he was 15. He has his own field that he goes to at 1:00 pm. (Which is the time his mum died.) When he was 5 all the way up to 20, his brother and sister and dad would tease him bully him and abuse him. His mum was the only one who cared and was with him the whole time... Yet, look at the person he’s become! He has an amazing wife two daughters and such a wonderful family. I know she is with him every second of every minute of every hour of every day :) -Lyla x
