It's all about finding the right song for them. Most X-Factor and Idol contestants are great on covers, but never find the right original songs. I'm a songwriter and was lucky enough to get the right Idol singer on one of mine, with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus singing background. Turned out beautiful.

I've still reservations about Casey. Talented though he is, he at times makes some pretty strange noises that for me often don't come off. However, there's no doubt that he seems to fire up Haley when they're singing together.

I agree that most of what we are force fed by the music industry is over done and fake, but this leaves shivers in your spine, a peaceful feeling in your heart and a bounce to your step... this is music. and pure unaltered passion for what they do..
