I love this girl. When everyone else was trying to get a deal, then put some tunes out as quickly as possible, she was holding out for artistic control Imagine--Randy and JLo criticized her for not knowing who she was as an artist. And now she's the one who's telling the label who she is, and not letting the label dictate it to her. I think her fans know the kind of artist she wants to be, but she always has surprises. I can't wait.

@breakoutthegoodstuff INCREDABLE interview :))) She's sooo much more mature than her age - She really sounds tired evn her voice sounds strained but Haley is taking her time which is AWESOME:))! Is there another part to this interview? I hope Haley can do her own music, & not just other people's. I think she should take her time & come out with something good, something her. Hopefully it won't be too long. You would think an American Idol would most likely be able to get backstage!.. I don't think Paul would mind meeting her.

Blues is where it's at. Blues, Soul, R&B, Jazz. They raised a nearly a million bucks for the food bank in Portland at the Blues Festival July 4th weekend. People travel from miles around to attend. Anything that's not rap or has no ying with yang to it as in: Melody without harmony or harmony without melody. Don't tell me that country music can raise that kind of dough. It can't. Not unless you live in TX. Meditation helps with knowing what songs to write and sing.

All the Idols must be getting burned-out by now in this grueling tour in a different city everyday by bus. I saw them in St. Louis Sunday night - well two thirds of the show since I was at Busch for the Cards/Cubs for 3 innings. I'll be at the Milwaukee show Thursday and the Chicago show Saturday. I've seen the adlib changes Haley has been doing to her two solo performances on KZbin & on sunday, probably to minimize the boredom of having to play HOTRS & Bennie for the umpteenth time. Thumbs up
