I was OBSESSED with Cassandra Clare back in the days and TID is one of my favorite series, with their male main characters still being the best book boyfriends out there!! Clockwork Princess is a masterpiece! This video lowkey makes me want to reread all of her work and go back into that world 😮

So glad you liked Clockwork Angel! I really like Cassandra Clare's books. I first started reading them when I was 14, and now, at 22, she's one of the authors from teenage years that I still pick up the new releases from, and am sure to have a good time reading. I really like The Mortal Instruments, but my favorite series are The Infernal Devices and The Dark Artifices❤ They are chunky, but you fly throw them.

I started and finished the Folk of Air series in under two weeks this past month, literally read one RIGHT after the other. Def one of my favorite series now. The only thing that really confused me about wild eyes was how „mature“ the daughter of West spoke. I had to remind myself here and there that she’s literally 6 years old and not 14. i had to ask my mom how i acted when I was 6 to compare myself to the way she acted. Some words were so adult-like, if you know what i mean. She was hilarious tho lol

@@snowwe101 I feel like the other children such as Cora were mature but with an *explanation* you know? E.g. Cora had this background with her mum and she had to step up as a kind of care giver. So that’s what made her talk and act like that.

I've read daydream and I feel the same way about the plot thing I read it mainly cuz I love tutoring trope but we got like one session I also felt like there was no reason for them not to be together it was dragging way too Much. Tho I still gave it 3⭐️

I definitely didn't start in the right place with Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunters books lmao. I'm almost done with Chain of Gold, the first book in The Last Hours trilogy (the sequel series to The Infernal Devices, but the most recent series that's been published), and I don't have anything but incredible things to say about it. The writing, characters, setting, everything is perfect. Based on your review, I'll have to go back and read TID after I finish TLH 😆

omg someone is finally talking about daydream! don't even get me started with this book, it was so disappointing and it was definitely my least favorite in the whole series. the book was so long for no reason and it just seemed like it was so repetitive! there was absolutely no plot and was lowkey cringy at some parts
