I’m a big fan of Emily McIntire’s books! Hooked was decent, but I LOVED Scarred and Twisted. She also has a small town spicy romance series that was pretty cute! Nothing can ever beat Chestnut Springs I don’t think, but they were still a fun time!

For your Dark Romance endeavor, I’d be interested to see how you feel about Under Your Scars by Ariel N. Anderson! I’ve been recommending it since I read it earlier this year! It ripped my heart out. 🥲 If you’re a strictly HEA girly then I would say maybe skip it or proceed with caution, but it really makes you feel something especially if you go in with the mindset that ‘not everyone gets a HEA.’ 😅
