Olivia, I love your tutorials, so easy to follow. I have a blanket nearly finished but I am having trouble with the half hexs like this... \__/. Do you happen to have a tute for these too? My granddaughter is nearly a year old and I am wayyy behind.

This is great work. I picked this one because it was the nicest looking half hexagon I saw. HOWEVER- the shape unfortunately doesn't fit for the sides of a hexagon blanket to make it flat. The top of the half hexagon needs to be flat, not pointed like this one is. So..... not sure how this would work for finishing projects. But it definitely is beautiful and symmetrical. Just can't be used for what is needed.

I absolutely love this pattern! I'm making a large blanket using the full African Flower Hexagon and the half African Flower Hexagon patterns and I find your tutorials so clear and easy to follow, thank you so much. My question is... When all the blanket is assembled I find the edges of the half hexagon look unfinished as a full blanket. Can you suggest and perhaps make a tutorial giving us guidance on how to produce a border for around the whole blanket please? Many thanks and keep posting your fantastic videos!! xx

I have stitched an African flower blanket and have it nearly finished however, would you happen to have a tut for the half African hex that has a flat top instead of the pointed like this one? Shaped like this \____/ I see that another of your channel followers is in my same situation. I found one on another channel but its not useful and I like your work so much better! I love the colours you used, what colour names was they and where do you get your wool from if you dont mind me asking. I have done 3 african flower afghans, and glad you did the half as I didnt like the in and out shape at the ends. Thank you so much

Thank you Kandy Bowden oh dear.. I have no idea, for my videos I only use up bits of yarn I have as I can't afford to buy just for the videos. I do use Stylecraft Special DK a lot, so it's probably, their cream, green, lilac and purple of their colours. Hope that helps.

Girlybunches Well, as you probably know, I've only been crocheting since last May, so not very experienced. I'm obviously doing something wrong. In fact, I think I need to change the way I've done my halves, from four trebles to three on the top of the petals on either side. 😊
