Eric from Half Baked Kids (H.B.K) Genetics was invited by Kevin not only for the work he was doing but also for his approach to breeding cannabis. Eric is a precise, thoughtful individual that is careful with his wording, accurate in what he's doing and driven by compassion not profits. Influenced by his long history of growing cannabis and his self proclaimed 'Cannabis PTSD' (from Drug War era raids), Eric likes to specialize in genetics that are not only killer and produce desirable traits but also finishes early. Eric seeks out genetics with that 'pop' flavor-wise vs only chasing high THC counts, a preference that benefits the extract market, where people are seeking more flavor in addition to effects. Eric also discusses some of the challenges he faces as a micro-farm and craft breeder in the newly regulated world. I have complex PTSD from 2 major life or death experiences. I had to use my brain and fight to survive in both violent events. I've found over the years that Durban Poison mixed with Super Lemon Haze is the best daytime smoke I've ever had. Energized without the paranoia. I lost hundreds of seeds from San Diego in the 90's all dank sativas from Mexico it would be seeded but it was the lightest green buds with red hairs and lemony terps. So sad to have lost those genetic gems.

I am NOT saying anything about his breeding techniques, but that (Jack Herer x Jack the Ripper) x green crack is just silly. Jack Herer is already an 11-way hybrid. So when you cross anything else to it, it's just gonna come out smelling like Jack. He said it himself, "it just has that super Jack smell!" Lol I'm sure it does. Like Adam Dunn says, that's like when your painting, and you're mixing colors, and you mix a beautiful color but then decide to mix in black. Imo, using Jack Herer in a cross is just silly. The Chili Verde sounds dope tho!

Stanky Fish Gutz that’s actually line breeding or (IBL). Do your homework, son and you will see all of the relatives in the pedigrees of those crosses. And that’s a funny comment coming from someone who has Scott Reach’s Rare Dankness logo as their profile picture. Ya know that Scott is doing the exact same thing with the Trainwreck and OG’s, right? And if you don’t understand what I’m talking about just research Jack Herer, JTR and Green Crack and you will see how many of their direct descendants are the same. So he’s just tightening up those genetics by breeding cousins to cousins which will have more vigor than breeding brothers to sisters in the long run. ✌️

Truth is, the most current genome mapping indicates the monkey breeders have completely phucked the genetics- aside from several dominant clusters- Kush for example, it's a hodge podge and the LP's must know ( they have be caught selling the same genome as different crosses with different thc etc when in fact they were exactly the same- except for possible phenotypic differences- even the basic species designation between indica and sativa is now extremely tenuous at best. Truly sad- think of all the beautiful terpene-thc-receptor cocktails that have been lost because of these monkeys. They have destroyed what was an elegant tapestry of real strains and crosses- even the species- all of which were created and preserved for at least 30 or 40 thousand years, probably much much longer.

Soundtorial that’s probably one of the best places to start a breeding project from. I guarantee that I could find a great female and male out of a single pack of Cindy because she’s cubed. Hence the 99. You have the Princess (P75) too which is the mother which will throw a little more variation but you can definitely save years by starting with someone else’s work that put 30 years of selection into their breeding programs. Brothers Grimm are one of the best seed companies, period. ✌️
