@dcon97083 жыл бұрын
I think the first two minutes of the video sums up why mr jodrey is so liked and popular amongst people who have loved cannabis since before legalization. Some people complain too many are fan boys of mr jodrey, it’s not bc we think he has the best genetics or grows the strongest pot or even makes the most money(we don’t really care that much about his pot) it’s because of the type of person he is. Straight honest, high level of candid communication. He would be just as liked in banking or land development. I bet he’s got some wild fire weed but that’s not why he has my respect. If I was at a dispensary with his product, I would probably choose to support his business over others.

In the uk where I live its all about fuel,skunk and fruity , that’s why I crossed c99 with lemon cheese and it’s the best of all three and has bag appeal , it smells like apples yet has a lemon skunky loud note to it ,can’t wait to back cross it on itself and see if I’ve got a stable cultivar across the lot of them then it’s breed the seeds for people to grow.

I'd love to test them out when the time comes. Let me know, I'm a legal grower doing indoor LED and also outdoor. In a year or two I'll have a greenhouse as well so I can test varietals in all environments (at least the locally available ones, I can't reproduce a tropical climate, I have more of a uk type of climate where I live). I've also been looking to cross c99 with a local strongly blueberry blue dream for similar reasons. I'm curing some right now and it smells exactly like blueberries but tastes like watermelon bubblicious gum. Anyway, I hope you've got yourself a winner. :)

It's extremely important when selecting a strain to know what the breeder used as far as lighting. Some strains bred in metal halide/ hps will not do as well under LED. It will grow..but it might not match the description from the breeder. This video is on point.
@rangerfox5322 жыл бұрын
same vice versa as well. I grow some strains I got from a commercial op that only used HPS, and they all grow differently and present slightly different terpene profiles being under LED.

We have access to a gazillion strains of cannabis seeds, but we have absolutely zero supply of pollen from those glorious landrace strains growing around the globe. I would happily purchase small quantities of pollen from exotic strains to breed with the plants I am growing. Marijuana growers need a supplier of high-grade pollen just as we need a source for seeds and clones.

the part where Kevin talks about blending concentrates really got to me.. I actually got myself off of opiate pain pills by mixing usually the best THC strain I could find with the best CBD strain I could find and then mixing the 2 and doing a super chilled QWET wash with dry ice. This was years ago, before good medicine was available in dispensaries. But I often think about doing that again and him bringing it up has sparked that idea again for sure

WOndered who thinks this BS up.. lol My MoM (Miss her always) was a nurse and she always told me She'd rather see me smoke Cannabis ,then Drink(Alcoholism was part our Family)... or any of that other crap out there,although she did not like it herself she understood its not for everyone ,however those who find it works for them were better off with that Option... wanna close by saying THANKS Kevin .. and those who helped bring this content online.. only get that classic uk exodus terp profile of cheese seeds once the plant has been flowered once...... cuttings from a cheese plant or a cheese seed that hasn't been flipped don't quite cut it ...... seen this with a few old mothers...... years of taking cuts off the same mum or re-flowering puts a stress on the plant that triggered those particular cheese phenotypical expressions

Good weed seems to produce a large quantity of smoke. There needs to be a test which burns the final product in a controlled manner, then measures and analyzes the smoke created. We are chasing our tail trying to measure the characteristics and composition of the plant material. Isn't that the way tar and nicotine levels of cigarettes are measured....by burning the cigarettes and measuring the smoke? I could be wrongl

If you don't pay attention to your plants you'll never learn to grow quality strains. Most just wanna grow money and the passionate ones wanna grow quality and that's why some fail. You think the big Fortune 500 companies are sharing this knowledge with the masses? It’s worth millions and he’s giving it away for free... there are so few people who are doing such large sifting projects and breeding in general that he’s pretty much the new king of cannabis. I respect him immensely ... and looks like tons of other pro growers do also.
