Half Day In Tobago

Description
Earlier this year we decided to head up to Tobago for half day. The weather wasn't so great but we got to hit the beaches, explore the town and get some food.

I love Tobago. In January 2020 I was in Trinidad for a family reunion and 3 days later, we continued on Tobago and it was the best 2 week vacation I have had on the twin island nation, because I got to go to the beach on both islands (Las Cuevas in Trinidad and Bucco in Tobago). The last time I visited Tobago was in 1989 and a lot has changed. Back then we stayed at Store Bay Beach Resort, but this last time we stayed at a Guest Villa in Bucco, because there were so many of us, I think we almost had the whole place to ourselves. We spent 3 wonderful days there before heading back to Trinidad and then everyone started heading back to Canada and the US a few days later. The next time I go down, I want to spend a week in Trinidad and a week in Tobago. I prefer the beaches in Tobago, the water was very rough at Las Cuevas; better for surfers. In Tobago, I felt my stress melt away in the warm water. I still have the screen shot of the view of Bucco on my phone.

It's really a great getaway. It's even cheaper that going out in Trinidad if you go as a group.
