Great pass. As a beginner I am usually the bottom guy and would love to learn some options how to counter knee passes and general rules what I should do from bottom half-guard/ z guard when I am under pressure.

As you clear the knee shield, it looks like your opponent has a good chance to shoot an underhook which would create problems. How do you deal with that? Thanks for your video, great content!

Thats an option for my opponent indeed! But the underhook is only dangerous when opponent is able to get close to your hips and bring your upper body forward. When I drop my upper body down towards opponents hip after I clear the leg and the underhook is there my goal is to put pressure below the level of opponents elbow. He doesnt have power to use his underhook to expose my back or get to my hips to sweep. After that Im gonna use the other hand to push his head away and Im gonna point my knee towards his far hip so his underhook becomes super weak and I can easly get in with my underhook. After that I just drop my knee towards mat and closer hip and I finish with knee slide. Does that description make sense?
