I was born in 95 (yes, yes, kachow) and my sister was born in 2001, so we both experienced the early 2000's with nostalgia, but she missed a major part of the cartoon years when all 3 networks had the best cartoons, in my opinion Cartoon Network was the best. Nickelodeon had "Hey Arnold" "Jimmy Neutron" "Rugrats" and the early seasons of Spongebob were just then becoming iconic. Disney had "Recess" "kim Possible" "proud family" and ofcourse they played disney movies as well, something I hope they still do? (Dont know, havent had cable since 2016) But oh man. Cartoon network was it. Dexter's lab, courage the cowardly dog, powerpuff girls, grimm adventures of billy and mandy, ed edd and eddy, codename kids next door, fosters home for imaginary friends, the list felt like an endless winning lineup, and they played the greatest holiday movies and episodes the whole month leading up to a holiday. I was in 2nd grade when I discovered Toonami on the weekends, playing anime for the first time, and by the time I was in 8th grade, I stayed up one night with a friend of mine pondering the question what happens when cartoon network ends? First show we saw was metalocalypse of Adult swim, changing my love for cartoons from a childhood thing to an adult thing. I still watch adult swim shows today, from robot chicken to american dad and rick and morty. CN didnt hold its title forever, the last great show was Adventure Time, and now they are only worth watching for the amazing world of gumball. I had a great childhood, but when it was raining outside, or I just finished homework, the cartoons got me through the days

The show is a wild, music-driven, live-action dance show designed to be "interactive," and encourages viewers to get up and dance along with the characters. The show is hosted by Muppet characters Edi and Waffle. The show premiered on the TLC Network on February 24, 2003, and then moved to the Discovery Kids channel on March 3rd of the same year. Thirty episodes were produced, and several have been released on DVD. The show also aired on Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Australia. Format Animal Jam uses real-life kids and puppet characters to teach movement and physical skills. Animal Jam hosts, Edi and Waffle, speak directly to the viewers at home and gets them physical active. The episodes consist of several physical themes including walking, flexibility, personal space, balance, jumping, marching, and physical expression. Each episodes has original songs followed by real animal footage that inspire dances and recurring games songs that viewers must follow along with.

I was 11 years old then, in 5th grade at the start of the year and then began middle school in 6th grade in the fall. I miss those times so much and remember seeing so many of these commercials while I was watching TV.

It's hard to put into words just what was special about the ads in this era. Maybe it was, like... it was the sweetspot where we knew just enough about all this new tech to be _competent_ with it unlike the eighties, but not enough to get _complacent_ unlike the new tens.

The 2000s is such an underrated decade and the last good decade for television and commercials

That's a thing with early 00's commercials you never know where the fuck they're going to go! I mean seriously they're so Batshit insane that you're either leftscratching your head or laughing your ass off trying to contemplate what the hell just happened, and sometimes how even the product advertised was even a thing. Honestly sometimes it feels like the commercials of this time. Had the logic of another 2000 show bobobo-bo-bo-bobo

All too often these days I mute commercials because they are annoying as hell and I have no interest in whatever it is they are selling. While the old ones were zany, wacky and weird as hell sometimes at least they sold the product proper more often than not.

This was so nostalgic in a melancholic way that I was expecting CartoonNetwork to start and show either teen titans, hihi puffy amiyumi, Ed edd and eddy or Dexter's laboratory....man time really flies with unlimited gas 🙁🙁🙁
