One commercial I remember: the Rice Krispies commercial with them putting a doll inside one of three holes (the other holes already having dolls in them) and then a mystical voice said "snap, crackle, pop" before the wall opened up to reveal a chamber full of cereal. There was another version of that commercial with cards instead of dolls.

it’s funny when we were kids we used to hate watching commercials and we would try to flip the channels. In between them we’d always have the back button ready so we can flip back-and-forth go to watch your show and kind of like being in the middle of walking to show that at the same time. But now you can’t get enough of watching old commercials because everything has changed including TV. You just miss the good day ol days

No wonder my childhood had so much joy, these commericals make you feel good. They're more positive and family oriented instead of all these dark tv shows you see on Netflix today or fake AI enhanced commercials.

I had both a Blockbuster membership and one to Hollywood Video. Hollywood started to be my favorite, because for like $10, you could rent two movies, get one of those microwave buckets of popcorn, two large candies and two soft drinks. In today’s money that would be like $35.

A computer virus regardless of cause is a failure of factorization that blocks earlier pathways and creates it's new ones. It's not a wilful misrepresentation by an intelligence unless that willful misrepresentation is caused by the virus, by definition. For example "and" is semantically a virus of given language if parameters are "and" is always true.

No DEI agenda's. No weird LGBTQ bs, just "buy our stuff!" This really felt like the end of a great party. Looking back to the 80's and 90's it's all awesome for the most part. We had our problems but compared to now... it's like a nation circling the drain. The party is over.

I wish Cartoon Network is still cool for not canceling so many good shows and replacing them with really bad shows especially their freaking obsession with the worst show ever created freaking TTG that’s why CN is going down
