A disc bound system! Welcome to my world! This is a lovely planner and it seems so “you”. Back when I worked full time, I lived on an hourly schedule as well. After retirement, combined with COVID, I only track my weekly grocery/bank/pharmacy/gasoline run. 😏 I make a list of all the tasks I need to get done and check them off. The rest of my planner is for stickers! The stickers keep me sane.

I just placed an order from Cloth & Paper last week and plan to place another one this weekend lol! But I got the Black Quilted in A5 with black rings. I'm someone who's mostly only used a coiled planner (Simplified Planner) so I'm excited to see how I like this. I think the Disc system is very interesting but there's so much to learn before I even consider trying it lol. So I'll do the rings for now. Your setup is beautiful! And I don't mind when you open up plastic on camera, I love the ASMR lol

No chill ha! I've been patiently waiting for this video. A disc bound system is LIFEEEEEEE!!!! I have the quilted no rings agenda. I'm not using it at the moment but I have been debating on setting it up. I so want the Saddle just because LOL! I'm obsessed with this color in handbags and shoes.

Love it!!! I picked up a Levenger disc-bound just before Covid hit for conference notes. It's now a notes planner for things I don't need to keep in my main planners (yes, plural) but need to keep together. It's a lovely system. Your video gave me some great ideas to organize this planner. Is it weird to just pick it up and look at it?

"I'm no longer available for things that make me feel like sh#t" -Omg! I need this sticker!! I love it and that BLM fist sticker! I LOVE this planner so much! And those Martha Stewart notes inserts that are neutral! I'm trying hard to tell myself I have 4 planners right now and I don't "need" another! But, I want one! Lol! Also, I noticed for some of the packaged inserts, you opened off camera and I SO APPRECIATE that! I deal with sensory overload issues as an effect from having a stroke. So it can be quite painful to hear the plastic. I usually avoid unboxing videos bc of that. But I've been waiting for this one since you mentioned it was coming in your PWM on Monday. So, I measured how big the half Letter is in person, and I think I'm going to order the Cloth and Paper HP Classic size inserts. I LOVE the A5 size but I write big. So, I'm going to get those inserts for Daily 2021 and the monthly inserts as well. Julie, do you know what size your discs are from Staples? I can't purchase them there in Canada bc they only have the black Arc discs. So I'm going to check Amazon. I want to get the 1 1/2 inch ones in Gold metal. Here I go watching this video for the 5th time. Lol. I want to nail down my "perfect" system for Jan-Dec 2021. What brand are your gold discs?

Also, if you're liking the discbound system and eventually get bored of it, may I suggest a Big Happy Planner? The letter size (8.5" x 11"). In the Big sized ones, there are many more options that are sophisticated and not childlike, like a lot of the Classic-sized HP's are. I have the "Kindness is Contagious" Big Happy Planner, and I love it. A lot of the Big ones have a simplistic layout so you can literally add "all the stickers" and enjoy the beautiful dashboards. There are so many options that I think you'd like. Just an idea... Edit: PS. I don't suggest the one I have bc it has a lot of peach. Lmao. But there's others that don't.

You’ve put together a beautiful AND hugely functional planner 😍 Could you sum up what the main difference(s) to you have been in switching from A5 to half letter, and why the latter is working better for you? Is it just the discs? At the moment I’m using a disc bound a5 (I really don’t get on well with rings) for daily stuff, but am finding something about the dimensions of the inserts is just not “right” for my brain.

It’s all separate! My discs are from staples, leather cover and clear plastic cover are from Cloth and Paper

Yes, half letter is 5.5” x 8.5” or 1/2 of a US letter sheet of paper. A5 is 5.83” x 8.27” or 1/2 of a metric A4 sheet of paper.
