To make it more clear, you don't actually _need_ to assign jump to the mousewheels, it just makes it easier. You can still perform this with a little practice just pressing the spacebar normally.

@@dzhagalow1 It _should_ work? I don't know for sure, as I've never tried using an autojump script before, much less for an accelerated back hop. But, if it is true that you simply need to spam jump after initiating an ABH (and it's not just human error creating the ideal conditions), then there is no reason the script shouldn't work.

@@kurukuru4120 you need to time the jumps when you're using scroll wheel to jump, spamming could nullify the speed you gained, spamming is only usefule when you're using the space bar to jump

If you use shift+s key, you need to face the opposite direction of where you want to go, then use ctrl+a and look the same way you were looking, you get an extra boost and you become even more faster in the start, it will make it a very fast start and can make bhop easier, turning to a direction becomes easier

Executive files can damage a pc, just do this command: bind mwheelup +jump; mwheeldown +jump. If you want to turn it off then go to keyboard settings and you will see there are 2 key control, one says 'previous weapon' and the other says 'next weapon' just click default settings and confirm it, thats how you unbind it

For some reason this video gets views (I'm not popular person), and because of nobody reads description there are some clarifications: 1. Yes, I know that these techniques are called ABH and ASH but I called them bunnyhop to make it sound more appropriate and clear for title (and for users). 2. "I S A I D G E T B A C K O N A P I E R" meme which you guys generated is fantastic, I love you all! :D 3. To demonstrate inputs I were using NohBoard. 4. You don't actually need to assign jump to the mousewheel, it just makes it way easier. 5. It is latest Steam version of the game. You can perform that kind of movement since Orange Box patch. 6. I have no idea about anything in the XBOX version. Just because I don't have XBOX / Half-Life 2 XBOX version. 7. Hey! Have you checked out the description? 8. I'm not deleting any commets, this is probably KZbin mechanics/glitches. 9. Please, don't write comments like "not working/I still can't do this/etc.". Look at the inputs shown in a video and practice more. If you still can't start hopping then make sure that your Half-Life 2 client version is "New Engine" (Orange Box/Steam). both let you acquire more speed, however back hopping doesn't really let you see where you're going, side hopping and forward hopping don't have that disadvantage, however, forward hopping is much harder because you need to time pressing the S key and jumping, side hopping, makes you go on a zig zag line, which is quite useful for curvy roads

It's not actually possible to do a bunnyhop in an up-to-date Half-Life 2. The trick was patched out of the engine. However, when Valve patched the bug they created another, ABH. So, the two are synonymous when playing Half-Life 2. But, if you want to get technical, then yeah, this isn't _really_ a bunnyhop.

No. I don't think you can bhop with spacebar. If you can, it's hard. But if you really wanna do it with spacebar, go ahead, but you'll have a hard time. Scroll wheel is much more spammable than the spacebar.
