I already tried to make a possibility on how Half Life 3 would be, and it would include Adrian Shephard Basically during a portal storm on the episode 1 or 2, one of them would open to G Man's pocket dimension, and other rebels around there would see a osprey (that one Adrian was in the end of Opposing Force), and since Adrian was nice with scientists, it also would be with the rebels. But once Adrian finally spots Freeman, Shepard would be wanting to kill him because of that old mission thing, but after a some fights, and a whole chapter about it, in the end Adrian would surrender, since he just remembered that there is no point of killing Gordon, so Adrian would join to the resistance, and fight agaisnt the Combine along with the rebels

I like to believe he would have made a great leader of the Resistance - maybe woken up before Freeman to get his side of things ready for when G-Man drops Gordon into the thick of things. As someone with actual military expertise, probably one of the few remaining after the Combine took over, he could've made a great squad leader and potential instructor for people who just want to take up arms. He's used to being a leader if OpFor is any indicator, even if it was only for a short time.
