It propably was the most successful one sure, but there's a lot of races out there, a lot of them definetly had far bigger capabilities to revolt, But the combine decided to supress them even further. Their biggest mistake in my opinion, is underestimating Humanity. They beat us in just 7 hours, but they severly underestimated just how resilient and determined we can be to overthrow a regime of this scale. Wallace breen became the administrator of Earth for the combine and the citadel is located in city 17. 2001-2005 (combine occupation): - the combine cities were located in dozens of European, Asian, and Northern African countries and cities (except the phillipines, UK, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, and Indonesia) - Countries that only have xen creatures (US, Canada, Central America, South America, UK, phillipines, Indonesia, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Caribbean islands and Finland) -countries that became extinct after the seven hour war (Iceland, Australia, and new Guinea) -countries with resistance bases (China, Japan, Taiwan, the European and North African countries, Korea, Russia, phillipines, and many other Asian countries) Many humans decided to resist the combine some want to join forces with them since both the combine soldiers and civil protection are human that became trans humans from a machine. 2007: the events of portal happened. 2016: the events of half life alyx happened. 2018: the events of portal 2 happened. Wheatley wakes up Chell from her stasis room. She and glados sent Wheatley into space and Chell was released to the surface. Chell built a small house for her and the companion cube to live in and has found weapons to keep the xen wildlife away from them. 2019: ravenholm was attacked by the combine by launching headcrabs into the town. Black Mesa east sealed the door to the infected town. April 2021: Gordon was released from the g-mans cryo sleep after 20 years. He arrived in city 17 in Bulgaria. He goes through black Mesa east, ravenholm, and nova prospect which lead to the uprising. April - June 2021: Uprising Gordon destroyed the machine which plummets breen to his presumed death. Gordon and alyx escaped city 17 with many other citizens and resistance members. They made their way to white forest base and launched the rocket neutralizing the portal. Eli died but was prevented after the g-man recruit alyx by destroying the advisor and putting her in stasis. Eli recruits Gordon find alyx. They head to the us after they found out that one human still lives there Chell. They recruited chell into the resistance and becomes part of their team. June 2021: battle against the advisors Chell, Gordon, and Eli head to Antarctica to destroy the advisors and save alyx. Judith has the idea to use both the gravity and portal gun against combine as Eli tries to work the borealis. July 2021: (after the combine was defeated and restoring humanity) After destroying the combine Chell and Gordon helps the resistance members rebuild their cities around the planet. Issac kliener became the world leader. Eli helps Issac kill all the xen wildlife except the vortiguants 2022: Chell and Gordon got married and started having kids of their own. 2050: alyx tells the story about how they restored humanity. Chell and Gordon are happy with their kids after destroying the combine.

Dude this is amazing but btw i always wonder something What happened to the animals?... I mean we had seen birds and fish and etc but in the wild we never saw deer, fox, rabbits, bears, dogs, cats, wolfs or anything which would live in wild life... Did they go in extiction? Did the combine capture some of them and use them as tests? I really wonder about that :]

I wish Valve Software did tell about Half-Life 2 story officially. Because people still these days trying & thinking about Game Story & Lore. I know about game taking place 20 years later. But what happened in 20 years? When Gordon Freeman slept for 20 years, did he actually sleep for 20 hours or 20 minutes? and also, Human Population on earth. Also Quarantine Zone in continents & Quarantine Zone in continents Survivor's Trying Rebuild Society & Nations After 7 Hours War? Still these days; these knowledges are Unknown.
