You can harness the space-time curved motions of the Black hole. Using that, you may travel in time and travel any limited space in short time ( teleportation ). "Time is relative btw" - Einstein, meaning any evolving living things can exists at the other dimension and study the laws there while their primary universe is dying within the cause of nature to let it happen or just us ( such as pollution but universally ).

Don't know why Judith would be that close to something like that especially since she was with the resistance if anything she was a spy for them on the Combine's activities which is probably why they made her out to be the other way around during the reveal in Nova Prospect. Of course the question remains on what character even for this VR title, where was Breen during all these events because he wouldn't have been in the citadel (which seemed to have been under construction) so where was he being kept.

@@kulkisJulius I don't believe it is her, in HL2 we only see her a total of three times in the main campaign as well as a cameo in the following episodes since the game is supposed to take place five years before those events its more than possible that Eli and her might not have run into each other yet, yeah they might have worked at Black Mesa but that was the past compared to the present heck Eli or Alyx doesn't even mention her once during their interactions with each other, not even Russel so I'm almost certain they didn't run into her until sometime down the line.

Remember what she says when you first enter the airlock! "I've been hearing about you long before the Black Mesa incident" Someone like Judith who seems to be more aware of the incident than she lets on makes me believe that she was at Black Mesa just in a different area but was able to see the experiment take place which is also where Alyx mentions this "you should hear her drown on about how it should of been her in the Black Mesa test chamber that day"

Plus, we already know that the vorts helped free The Freeman, but in the events of HL2:EP2, G-man is still talking to Gordon, which means he still think he can use Gordon. This all depends on where in the g-man's timeline it is.. If it's post hl2 then it's cos he is saved by the vorts and no longer in the employ of the g-man. but if pre hl2 then it's that he refuses to help. but he decides to help when ask to help earth at beginning of hl2.

I actually think that the way they connected this to the other games is really interesting! I cannot wait to see what happens next, if Valve decides they will do anything at all, of course. It may have been from a younger Alyx's perspective, but this actually is just a story of how G-Man goes back in time to make things go his way when Gordan Freeman becomes... a free man. Honestly, the only thing you really needed to gather from this game is that G-Man went back in time and hired Alyx as his new... tool and now that those series of events has occurred, Gordan is now free and Eli Vance is no longer dead. But now that Gordan truly is a free man, what do you think he will do? The rest of Half-Life Alyx is pretty much irrelevant. But what comes next? How about this... We prepare for unforeseen consequences. The next Valve game I hope actually brings Portal into the mix as well since Portal 2 Clearly takes place after or during the events of Half-Life 2. Maybe the next game will focus on the Borealis and what kind of a ship it really is... maybe it can tie into how to... interact with the G-Man and in turn tying the Portal series back into the Half-Life series. Yet I wonder what unforeseen consequences that will bring along.

The ending shook me. Like, it took me a bit to figure out what happened. But now I've got it. Right after Eli was kllled, Gordon refused to work with the G-Man any longer. In doing so, G-Man used his abilities to reset certain events. Namely, the last moments of Episode 2. This results in Alyx reviving her father, but with some time-mumbo jumbo, has been taken by the G-Man and put into stasis, and now Gordon, Eli and Dog must save her from her captors, and hopefully take down the G-Man, and maybe even his employer's in the process.

@@INF2.160 The difficulty is not easy. I played on hard mode (the hardest mode) and it took me several days to beat the game. One zombie takes almost an entire magazine to kill, heavy combines take 2 shotgun bullets at point-blank range, antlions take an entire smg mag to kill without missing, and in the endgame, you are at the brink of running out of ammo / healing. And I played like I do in Skyrim, saving every single resource till this end. Don't even mention the lightning dogs, those things are near impossible to kill in hard. The problem is normal mode is NOT "normal", it is much much easier than hard. I beat the game without dying once on normal, and you are left with many excess reserves.

It is really fantastic work from valve. You know, the ultimate problem of prequels is that everybody knows how will the story end, well not this time. Valve just have shown to everybody how prequel could alternate the story of well known, 13 years old storyline with fatal cliffhanger. Which is of course the bonus because the main thing was to make this game at least as good as the previous one. And that is something that wasnt easy to achieve after 13 years of making the half life godlike by the fans, so to dissapoint the fans was very much easier. But well, they did it, they did it great, and its not just perfect game, its a perfect VR game and they show to everybody not just how to make a great VR game but also how to make a working prequel with unexpected ending.

I love the fact that Larry is wearing a spiked colander on his head, presumably to protect himself from the ceiling trap things. Wearing a hat can have a *distinct advantage* when you accidentally come to close to them. Also wearing the respirator mask is good too at certain points. Kingsservant83 As much as vr can cause motion sickness, you can get around it. Just stop playing when you start to get sick, have a fan blowing at you, drink ginger ale when you are sick, and slowly build up an immunity by playing more intense games. 7 hour war. Not 7 day war. Also the headcrab is not a fan favorite, while yes, alot of people like it, it is still bold to assume it's a favorite of every fan. Some diehard fans love the G-Man, some the Combine and so on. Also also the base at the end of EP 2 was called "White Forest" not "White Woods"

There are multiple timelines, but the main of is The Freeman timeline. Think of it this way, there are a bunch of times where the player died during the game. That is one of the timelines. There are also a part in HL2 when the player accidentally destroys the car or the boat and a text will say "Assignment: terminated, Subject: Gordon Freeman, Reason: failure to preserve mission critical resources". So there are alternate timelines, but the one that we follow is The Freeman timeline

Just think of it as out of all the timelines the real one is the one where Gordon or Alyx (the player) win. Play the "Lost Coast" it's set before HL2 but with a later Gordon.

I'm still confused about how this new revised timeline plays out, since this is a prequel to hl2. If alyx is put in stasis at the end of this game, does hl2 end up continuing without her? Or does gman just let her go then and plucks her out of the timeline later

Hey, SuperHorrorBro. I have a Bendy theory for you; so Norman Polk (the projectionist) is down in level 14, right? And you can kill him right? Well if you kill him, later in Bendy Land there is an area where there is... The projectionist, even though you already killed him. And also on level 14 there is a recording by Norman Polk where he says: "It's just the nature of us projectionists to seek out the dark places" notice that he says "PROJECTIONISTS" not just saying that HE seeks out the dark places. This could just be a coincidence, but in Bendy and the Ink Machine... I don't think so. Anyway you can look into it if you want, just an idea.
