You missed one: at the start of the game, in the room with the Dog prototypes drawing, there is a camera and a window with duct tape on it. The duct tape create a arrow pointing at nothing outside the window. However if you look through the camera at the same spot, you'll see a figure standing right where the arrow is pointing.

If Alyx was caught by the combine, he will be transported offworld permanently or they will turn her into a stalker so don't feel bad. These soldiers are no longer human you see, they have no more memories cause you have to perform a memory wipe inorder to become a combine soldier and climb up the ranks. They are synthetic human and with their own will to volunteer.

@@kerosenn7016 The ones in HL- Alyx are also synthetic. You see a few normal metrocops at the start, but the rest are all cybernetic Overwatch soldiers. You can even find a few of their corpses with masks torn, showing weird pale flesh, removed ears, wires in the eyes etc. They probably have a bit more human character hanging around than the ones in HL2 though, being an earlier model

That'd be something that would be useful to grab in a pinch if the world was going to shit and only takes up about 17 GB, which while large is smaller than the Halo Master Chief Collection on PC (which is a little over 64 GB). Half Life definitely has horror as one its tags on Steam, I believe, and for obvious reasons. I mean, there are whole segments that are just like a horror game. There's other reactions than just those, if you try to grab his gun he'll pull it away from you. However I don't really think those can be considered "easter eggs" or "secrets" just small details that the player has to go out of their way to see.

I didn't find an easter egg, but rather a weird "jumpscare". When I was at the part with the three indoor cranes (one holding a concrete pipe) I was searching for loot when I jumped off the middle platform and moved towards the only exit to get back into the level. Right next to the door with the lock, there's a vent. I thought it would be funny to see what was inside, so I went to the border of my play area and got as close as possible; crawling in by moving across the floor IRL. Inside there was a helmet and a headcrab, which attacked immediately after I saw it. Why it's weird is that it wouldn't have attacked me if I didn't look, so it's a mostly redundant enemy. :\

Okay. So. About D0g? If you look closely at the picture and sketches of him, you'll notice that the original model was a design made by Aperture Science. It's from the Portal VR game. Also, the bottom right sketch is based, design-wise, off of a Houndeye. If you look closely at the Snark, you'll notice it's a cross between the original Snark and the High Definition Pack Snark. It has antennae like in the HiDef Pack, but has a black-on-red shell as opposed to the newer yellow-on-red shell. Also, the Breen quote "I'm a scientist, not a politician" is a reference to Half-Life: Decay where Doctor Rosenberg said "The Administrator is a bureaucrat, not a scientist."

Can't be undercover rebels neither, Combine Overwatch Soldiers are brainwashed and cybernetic enhaced humans (that joined the army by will or by force), it's not like you can get dressed like them because their suits are atached to the body at some extent (most likely on their legs) unlike Civil Protection that are completely humans and their suits are just a military uniform.

Just to note about the cat, at the start if you look to the right off the balcony you can see it sleeping in a chair. Throw something at it and it'll wake up. Then, right after the transport vehicle crashes/explodes, it can then be seen on the rooftops. Depending on how believable you think it is for the cat to go from the balcony to the roof in that time, some have theorized that the cat actually gained some teleportation powers from the experiment.

Unfortunatetly for breen (The actor and the person playing him and who took the model of him) if I recall died on 2010 and that makes me sad as all of the half life characters are indistinguishable for me and I always miss them. I am glad they are in one way forever into this game as it never lost it charm. Especially that it is still on Gmod where he could experience many lives still.

Barney's "cat thingy" is a reference of Half-Life: Blue Shift because the 1st teleporter device they used to get out of Black Mesa failed a couple of times during that expansion. I think you mixed the cat from that lady(that is on the start of HL:Alyx on one balcony) with the teleported Kleiner and Barney used to scape Black Mesa.
