Ive had the best experience with this song yesterday while going on a walk with my headphones. During my walk in the rain, the storm cleared for a couple minutes, i put the song on right at the moment more massive storm clouds were heading my way fast. In the distance you can see the lightning flashes in the sky. as the main riff kicked in it gave me such an adrenaline boost and a bit of determination to make it back to my place quick before I got showered. Such a cool and vivid moment, thank you for making a badass piece. ill be playing the demo as soon as you release it.

This is my first attempt at producing music, especially of this style and genre. Previously I’d written and performed music, but acoustic / electric. Typical band stuff. When I decided to try and make a new Half-Life soundtrack and studied existing material, it felt daunting. But I’m happy with the results so far. In time I’ll try master these and get the album out online. I can definitely say it’s made me pivot into new territory that I intend to explore further. And thank you for the comment.

The biggest challenge ahead beyond making something reminiscent of Half-Life, will be to have a few tracks in the style of Portal 2. Due to the nature of Ep3’s storyline I feel that’s appropriate - but they’ll have to feel equally like part of the same package as my previous tracks. Stay tuned
