More detailed information can be found on the previous Half-Life speedrun. - Game: Sven Coop is a Half-Life based game with the heavily modified GoldSrc engine called Svengine. As original Half-Life, Sven Co-op has Half-Life: Opposong Force campaign which has been used to speedrun. - Game Version: Speedrun has been done on the version 5.25. - Project: This project has started on June 2024 and ended on September 2024, since the HL run the team has been expanded to 9 people (including ialex and Rekker). - Speedrun: Classified as Scripted, Tool-Assisted, Timescale Assisted, Segmented, RNG and FPS manipulated. You can find time sheet in the description. - Segments: In Sven Co-op, OF campaign has total of 35 maps, 2 of them are intro and outro. Leaning on RTA rules, the speedrun was done on 33 maps. Each map has been recorded separately with save of our weapons, health, stats for the next level to run. - Time: To measure start and end time of each level, it was decided to use server's time. To measure time, we used RTA Opposing Force rules: map's timer starts after finish of the loading screen and stops after begin of the loading screen, also there's one additional condition for the timer to stop: when Gene Worm HP drops to zero (RTA rule). Time of a segment is measured only by the host of the server. - Rules: Some of the rules were taken from the RTA community of the game (www.speedrun.com/sven_coop?h=Opposing_Force&rules=game&x=wk6np6e2): 1) The run starts after you load the map "of1a1" and ends on the final hit dealt to Gene Worm. 2) Respawn delay, 20-200framerate changes/tickrate, + survival mode, sv_lan and other QoL commands are allowed (mp_respawndelay, toggle_survival_mode, fps_max, cl_showstats, etc...). 3) rcon commands are allowed (dedicated server). 4) Removing/changing motd.txt is allowed. 5) Making soundcache read-only is allowed. - Extra rules: 1) Survival Mode is enabled (mp_survival_supported 1). Classic Mode is ENABLED Restored Gene Worm boss from the original game made by community (thanks to this github.com/CubeMath/UCHFastDL2/blob/master/geneworm.zip) mp_falldamage is set to 1 2) Allowed to change FPS beyond 200 limit. 3) Allowed use of fake clients when it's suitable. 4) To simulate freeze of the game, stop the network channel from transmitting data to a server. 5) Since RTA rules allow use of Dedicated Servers to let the host freeze as clients do, we also "run" that Dedicated Server only formal. 6) Any count of players can run a map: from 1 player to 32 players. - Tricks: Train Health Abuse - (Map unique.
