Just like the rest of the security guards in Black Mesa, Otis was tasked with the mundanity of guarding corridors and rooms with white lab coats and indecipherable words. This is his blue shift, with some roundness above the belt.
But as madness crept closer around his life, so did the responsibility of no longer being the bullied brewed within him, so much that at the end of all this, he was the hero Black Mesa needed.
