I have struggled with injuries the last year, it’s been several years (and a couple more kids!) since my last half marathon and I am so excited to try this plan!! I loved your pregnancy plans and post partum plans and am so happy you have firm 30 half marathon plan!

You know Ashley, I wasn't going to start running. My most memorable experience was in college training with my sister in law for a triathlon (she did it, I just ran with her) early mornings and shin splints didn't make it very fun. But you have changed my mind. Maybe I can do it and enjoy it.

Ashley your plans are truly life changing. I am so pumped about this one!! I am currently pregnant so I obviously can’t do it yet but I’m considering buying it at the sale price so I have it for after the pp plan. The farthest I’ve ever run is 10 miles but the half marathon has always been an unspoken goal of mine-it’s just incredibly intimidating to me. But I so appreciate the work and effort you put into these. I respect you and your business so much and hope that you and your family are blessed. Oh and I think we should be able to earn commission from selling your cookbook to friends-I’ve made your recipes for others so many times and they always end up buying the cookbook for themselves because they’re so good!! :)

Yay! I can’t wait for this plan! I’m dropping back on my running volume to reduce my cortisol levels. Your style workouts and knowledge of science is so invaluable to helping me feel awesome while staying active! 🎉

Good for you for deliberately working on your cortisol levels by fine tuning what works for you and your body best as far as exercise volume + nutrition. You've been a part of GlowBodyPT for so long Joli and I'm incredibly grateful for you.

I have a baby so I normally stroller run (but I know trail or grass running is better). Is running on paved asphalt (not concrete) really hard on the joints?

Do you have to run 5k under 30 minutes? I would love to use this program postpartum but i'm pretty sure my mile will be longer than than 10 min/mile.

Hi Lily, it's Ashley. You definitely do NOT have to run 10 minute miles, or a sub 30-minute 5k to do the Half Marathon Bonus Program included in Firm30. It's distance based (not time-based) so advanced runners will improve, beginner runners will dramatically improved, and average-paced long-time runners will improve. You'll be in AWE of what's possible for you and your body on just 2 runs per week. Last thing-- you mentioned doing Firm30 Half Marathon Program postpartum, but just wanted to be sure you know to do the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan **first** and then you can hop over to this intense program. Wouldn't want to cause Diastasis Recti or prolapse or hernia if you didn't give your postpartum body the proper recovery base right up front. : )
