I meant to mention the fiber powder in the tortellini. I like to add fiber and/or protein powder to things like pasta sauces and soups because it bulks up the nutrition factor but doesn't affect the overall taste or consistency (be careful not to add too much protein powder because it can get gloopy in hot liquids). It's one of my post-weightloss surgery tricks.

Where is your running cap from? Looks warm. (Not a runner. But, I do walk a dog for about 45 minutes...in Janaury...in Winterpeg (Winnipeg). And, do you do any weight training along with physio and endurance (running, biking, swimming).

I ordered it off Amazon for about $20. The brand is "GADIEMKENSD". It has a hole for my hair to go through (but it can be snapped shut if you don't want that) and the earflaps really do keep my perfectly toasty. It also has reflective details across the brim and the back.

Sorry, forgot to add that I am still in the "wanting to start weight training but haven't yet" stage. I really do need to either buy some equipment or get over my gym anxiety and finally go.

Found the hat! Thanks! I started getting back to "moving" in the summer. Just move. Gym x2 week on elliptical; slow speed and 15 minutes. That has improved (3x a week, 25 minutes, fast speed). Added 2 personal weight training sessions in November. I feel so much better and stronger.

The trainer motivates me, ensures I'm doing the right stuff and helps me improve. Women's gym, women trainer. All body types and I am motivated by them all. They are there, working as hard as I am. I don't judge them. They inspire me. I hope the look at me the same way.

Sorry if i missed this but are you running the whole time or doing running / walking intervals?

For most of my runs, I do run/walk intervals. I did 8k this morning: ran 4.5 minutes then walked 1 minute. I CAN run 5k without walking, but I'm actually faster if I incorporate walking.
