At the end of OOTS, Last Hope, Jayfeather cries/wails for Half Moon during the battle. Half Moon stops her fight and comes rushing over to him, calling him her love,, and they literally brush muzzles for a bit in the midst of fighting cats. Jay’s Wing is technically still Jayfeather, just living a new life/Reincarnated. Half Moon loves Jayfeather, because he IS Jay’s Wing in a different body.
