4 yrs later! Just found this stitch called for in a pattern and I was thinking WTH is that?! Thanks, as I have trouble reading instructions like that and understanding the instructions. This helped a lot. 😊

THANK YOU! I had a pattern that called for this stitch and I was having such a hard time trying to wrap my hear around what it was.

Did it work out ok?

I like double sided, but it depends on what I was making if I were making a double thick cotton hot pad, I would do the single sided version that would be so cool. Thank you for your hard work.

I watch Italian videos too! There are several that make absolutely gorgeous sweaters!! They also use a lot of “short” and “tall” stitches. I believe the short stitches are used along neckline on items like circle sweaters where the neckline keeps getting bigger as you crochet around to create the front of the vest. I’ve been crocheting almost 50 years and had never heard of the 3 terms. Thanks for explaining. ( It is an uncomfortable stitch)!!

I have never heard of this stitch, but it does have a unique look. Is there a reason you attached the blue yarn separately instead of joining to the green you were using?

You can add the yarn however you like. Normally for the tutorials I end up taking the stuff apart so I don’t join it permanently to save yarn

Very interesting! I have one suggestion though - please turn up your volume! Even with my speakers all the way up I can't hear you!
