This is the first flight of my lovely Airtractor and it was great! The plane itself flies incredible but we had some Problems with the engine..... see why.

Wow congrats bro for maiden.... Though I dont know much abt engines but your plane is looking so damn good while flying. Also despite of loss of engine it was flying so good. So very well build. Congrats !!

U checked everything except the most important part Carburetor Try cleaning it Change fix kit Then change it all Also reed valve

Was für ein Motor ist verbaut? Scheint nicht ein Walbro Vergaser zu sein?

Take the carburetor to a good small engine mechanic, he will be able to identify the problem!

thank you, as Im still learning with that gas engines I don't have much knowledge but we are already working on a solution.

Salü zusammen Ich würde den vergasser abnehmen und das filtersieb im vergasser reinigen. Es könnte sein das dort von der Produktion her fremdpartikel drinne sind. Weiter würde ich den Motor genügend fett stellen und einfach mal fliegen. Bei einem neuen DA (Desert Aircraft) motor hat man das unrunde laufen im halbgas genau auch. Nach ja 10L einlauffase verschwindet das problem und man kann ihn langsam anfangen spitzer abzustimmen

danke für den tipp! Der Motor ist auch neu und hat vielleicht 5L gelaufen... leider läuft er immer noch sehr unzuverlässig und die Vergasernadeln mussten um mehr als das doppelte aufgedreht werden als es in der Anleitung steht. wir arbeiten an einer Lösung!

@@loebairschau ob der Vergaser falschluft zieht. Das wäre ein grund dass man das gemisch viel fetter machen muss… kann du am einfachsten wenn er läuft mit bremsenreiniger um den vergaser spritzen wenn er dann abstellt zieht er irgendwo bei den Dichtungen falschluft

If the engine has a starter Motor, why didnt you use it when it died?

@@user-cl3ye4yv8t I explained that in the video! I was in panic and under stress (first flight) and used the starter engine wrong. I did not have that much height so I decided to go around immediately to make sure I’ll reach the airfield and not waste a second trying to start the engine again.
