I'm not sure if you still respond to this video. My calculus is 25 years rusty. When calculating Vdc out... why is 1/2(pi) put in front of the integration formula?? I just dont remember why this is done.

Yes ofcourse why should be apply 1/2pi means actually in hwr we need to calculate Vdc out ,so you must take before integration 1/2pi because after rectification you can get only positive half cycle i.e., 0 to pi in this period current will flows when we calculate efficiency then it's getting better,it's not correct so defiantly you must take 0 2pi them it's actual efficiency we can define hwr is poor efficiency thank you
