Aja Grant, one of the background vocalists, is the Gospel choir director at my college (Biola University), so in that way I have a very indirect connection to half alive, which is cool.

This is so cool. You really get a grasp at how difficult and stressful making these things happen can be and I just think that's incredible. Being able to meet a bunch of the people involved was so cool. Thanks for doing this guys, your music is so amazing. Edit: And you got freaking Anthony Russo to help with this! Just incredible.

I'm a flautist and I can confirm we usually refer to ourselves as flute players and are not offended in the slightest by that term.

HalfAliveBanditø Really depressing songs that are all about depression or rejection: 0/10 I feel like these things are important to portray in media. But too much really ways down on a person. Especially with me, who used to have suicidal thoughts. Sorry for my rant.

man thats not what appreciating art is about. I have a friend who is good friends with josh, have been to a few shows, and even got the chance to sit down and talk with J tyler about their music, but flexing with that kind of stuff in comments sections aint it XD
@halfalivebandit25354 жыл бұрын
Travis Crawford 😂 i don’t see how thats flexing. It’s a way to appreciate the fact that you’ve respected them for a while and will continue to do so and even if i don’t in the future that comment is there to stay as almost like a time capsule that people will look back on in years to come including me and think ‘wow that was a while back’. So including you and everyone else on this comment section we’re laying a foundation for these guys to grow off of us. That’s so cool about you having friends that’s good friends with Josh and i think that’s something you should comment yourself for people to see coz that’s a cool story for people to read while scrolling down reading the comments

So I'm watching the video around midnight, when there's a flash outside my window which doesn't really register until BOOM! Thunder, which is still vibrating the floor when the song ends at 13:24! "I still feel alive" is no joke seeing as my great-grandfather got hit by lightning and died in his horse-drawn buggy (or in the doorway of his house depending on which version you read) way back in 1892.
