In the example you gave I wouldn't consider snitching as your 'friend' did you dirty and they aren't your friend because they did you dirty by getting you involved. With that said the best course of action to any interrogation is to clam up and lawyer up.

Jai: to answer what you ask, is don't say anything just lay down an do my time I dont want the label of snitch riding over my head for the rest of my life or looking over my shoulder for the rest of life wondering who or when will someone see me an send me to meet my maker. That's why I say if your going to do anything do solo never bring anyone with so that the ok only people that know what you did is yourself an God you answer for what you did at the gates of heaven when that day comes. Snitching comes down to involvement and expectations to me... if i work a 9-5 and pick you up to go out for the night we get gas and you rob the place that's not snitching. You shouldn't have put me in that situation. If we've committed similar crimes in the past together and shit happens in the store and they end up robbing it and come out you can't snitch. If at anytime we are doing a crime together and get caught you can't snitch. If someone robs someone at gunpoint on the street any innocent bystander is not a snitch for giving a description.... in my book.

If i've done something that would cause me to go to jail and i get caught thats on me i made a choice and have to deal with the consequences "you are free to to make whatever choices you want to make but you are not free from the consequences of those choices" and if im with my friends and they go do some or is about to do some that i didnt know they we're gone do and afterwards they try to tell me about it im gone stop them and ask them have they did some they shouldn't have and if they say yea im gone ask are they straight if they are thats all i need to know and if we end up getting stopped by the police or whatever and i didnt know about what they did and didn't have nun to do with it and the police ask me about it hey i didnt know anything and they cant say im lying i didnt not cause i couldn't have known i just didnt want to know
