I had mine for like 3 days. I immediately rolled over the tip of the blade. For my first SOG knife i was dissapointed with he quality. It seems that they did not even harden the blade. Wondeing if anyone has had simular experiences. 😔😔🙁🙁

Does it matter which way it goes in the sheath?

I'm carrying my Gerber EVO today, so I don't have this knife on me to check,,,,,,, but I am pretty sure you have to put it in a certain way (top curve is a bit different I think).

My sheathe is so loose it needs barely any pressure to remove the knife. Pretty disappointed in this as it doesn't appear it can be tightened back up.

Sorry to hear that. With all these type of knives I usually avoid unsheathe/resheathing more than nessesary to avoid what you mentioned. "Yes", ideally you shouldn't have to spare the item in order for it to work, but,,,,,,,, :-/. I use my primary knife almost every time anyway, so my instinct mini still holds in.

Definitely needs sharpening. Even after sharpening it snags a little bit. It's okay for everyday use.
