Great review Jack. I started droning 6 plus years ago with an entry level GPS drone. To me it made sense, learn to fly and learn by your mistakes and believe me there were. As important would be, see if you like flying drones. I know so many people who have spent hundreds on their first drone, that either gets packed away or crashed on their very first flight. Just got mine. It got 19 satellites but the return to home function is off probably 2-3 meters, so you can't RTH if you're near trees. But I would say, the camera and gimbal are top notch for this price range.

My first drone was the DJI mini 2 that cost me £38 second hand 👍, what an amazing drone for the money it is and sold it to upgrade to the Mini 3, sold the mini 2 for £230 and bought the mini 3 second hand for £230 lol, i then bought a plus battery for extra long flight times.

All the drones I had, four so far, broke down, had poor range, or acted wonky and unpredictable until I got a DJI. Much, more expensive, but absolutely no flaws. Lots of hours of flying. Then I crashed into a bush on the side of a cliff. My fault. Climbed and got it back. It flew great, but had sticky berry stuff all over it, and the props. Wiped it with a rag and good as new.

I was (I am) undecided between the SG109 max2 records on 4k and the L200 that records only in 2,7k but which one is actually giving better video image? And I can see that L200has actually has better quality. I am wondering if for the return home I should buy it with the 360 obstacle avoidance. I j ust saw on your video that you have two and crashed them both so maybe the obstacle avoidance will be good.

You should review the Ameta S20 Lite drone as a competitor to the Tello. Its optical flow like the Tello not GPS. But solid 30fps 2.7K video, 4K photos. Just a little over $50. Optical flow works pretty good and I think it even has some image stabilization but not as good as the Tello. BUT it has a memory card slot, higher resolution camera and brushless motors over the Tello.

I love cheaper ones for more dangerous missions, like chasing seagulls around. If I'm over water and one attacks and the drone falls into the sea, it wasn't $700. I usually fly in circles with them, but sometimes, one gets aggressive and stalks the drone.

i kinda regret buying l900 pro drone, but at the same time i found a discovery, you know l900s camera is super bad and does like 20 fps lower, but if you were to fly it at night at darker places the fps increases, so i think its quite sensitive to bright lights, so the best way to use l900 is on night parties events not too bright dark places. but still i regret buying it cuz i really wanted a good camera and a gimbal, welp

fun fact half of the l200 pro max battery is foam some reason just like a s5s mini the only difference is the s5s mini is a kinda horible drone tho it flys great kinda but not in winds outside and its a non gps drone and has a 3.7v 1600mah battery then the l200 pro maxes 7.4v 1600 mah battery tho the 2 drones kinda share a really simmilar body and probebly the same size

I just received mine. Have it sitting here waiting for me to open it. So, I really want a RC remote to use with it that has an inbuilt screen. I found on AliExpress a drone called the S159 Which comes with a DJI screen controller. They sell the controller separately and it's 5g wifi. But can I use it with my L200 Pro (The pro max is just the version with the Obstacle avoidance). How can I find a screen controller (LCD) for my l200 pro?

I too was interested in the S159 because of the built-in screen. I just watched a review and it's crap. Toilet bowl, poorest video quality ever, controller doesn't have GPS so no special features. L200 Pro is a million times better. I don't think any other controller will work. Just use a phone. Buy a cheap phone with 5.8 Ghz WiFi (802.11 ac) if you don't want to use your own. $50 or less. Or 2ndhand phone.

@@eduardoh1213 L200 Pro is under 250 grams which is important in most countries. But if that doesn't matter then the L600 Pro perhaps can handle a little bit more wind? Also the camera can get hot if you don't fly the L200. Not sure that is any better on the L600?

also have you tried testing the KEH Rc k11 turbo There are two versoins of it the one with no display on the remote and the one with the screen display which looks very simmilar to a dji Rc and Rc pro tho it has one of does laser obstecle avoidance option which in my opinion probebly not that effective and it has a 4kilometer range tho is its 4k 30 fps camera actualy legit i plan on buying one soon

Manufacturer LYZRC cannot be found, no homepage, no support. How can you manually switch off the drone's motors? For example, the drone landed in the grass, two propellers blocked, the other two propellers continued to run at full speed... It's difficult to hold the drone with your hands when the motors are running???

This is a really good drone when it works properly. I carefully tested it twice indoors and outdoors, everything was fine. On the third day I wanted to fly, it stopped detecting satellites. I put it in manual mode and launched it, it took off to the maximum altitude and did not respond at all to the controls. I lost sight of it and could not find it. I am very disappointed.

I think the lag will be a problem if you use phone goggles even if that's only half a second. The app does have a split 'fpv' screen option of course. But you need an observer to tell you in which tree it crashed.

It's amazing that there are drones for under $100 vs DJI drones starting at $300. But the main difference is the range. If the under $100 drones operate by WIFI the range is only about 50 feet at the most. While DJI drones operate from satilite and have a range of over 6 miles. This means that the under $100 drones are only a toy that you can fly around your backyard and not do serious aerial photography.

The main difference is the overall quality. You can't compare this $100 L200 Pro to a DJI Mini. But it flies and makes pretty darn good video for the price. 'It's good enough for who it's for'. Such as me. Aerial photography has little to do with range. This thing has a couple hundred meters range. Legally you have to keep in in view anyhow. I want shots of my bike trip. If I want to do landscape 10 km away I get something else. And DJI drones do not operate from a satellite. You mean GPS. Well these days $40 already have GPS.
