I really do like your channel. I own the Tello and I love it. It’s actually my go to flier above my Bebop 2 and Spark just because it is stupid simple to get into the air. Your Tello videos...are you up sampling these or are the stock 720p?

Thanks! I use stock footage, no editing. Produce the video in 1080 so their may be some minor change as it is upsampled.

I had loads of fun with my Tello till it broke, returned it and got a Spark. Intend to buy another Tello. Just wish it came with a controller, not a fan of the phone controls and bluetooth is laggy. Edit: Would love white props on the Tello, just really like white props.

Owning both I pretty much agree. I read it´s easier to connect the Mitu toa bluetooth controller though. Which I would´nt need cause I fly it with my GPD Android game console, sadly that does not work with the Tello, as it does not FPV. And by now there´s an english language app also - MiDroneMini.

Great and detailed comparison, a couple of questions here, I understand that we can use the Mi WiFi Extender to extend Tello's range but can we do the same with the MITU to extend its range as well as from the specs it says that MITU is using 5.8Ghz while I believe the Mi Wifi Extender only works on 2.4Ghz

Hubsan 502 C has gps,transmitter ,has a sd slot on drone ,ebay 40.00 has all the things a tello doesn't have plus a lot more features.,look it up on ebay has a ton of features a fellow doesn't have.

Xiaomi Mitu also has an optical flow camera. You have to look closely to see it.

I'm kinda pissed that the tello app did not recognise any of my controllers, so I purchased the one they do recommend, but then I spent 8 bucks on the tellofps app, and it detects all of my controllers out of the app. and that app does far better than the default one. some sort of baf coding or scam going on here with tello.. Camera is still fail though, like a malp from SG1....

I have dji tello and it's photos are at least great but the video is uhhh... not that nice BUT for 100 bucks is very good.also by using an xiaomi mi wifi repeater 2 it doesn't skip frames and extend the range .

I would bet that theres a Tello 2, but this time directly from DJI. In my opinion they used the Ryze brand for a test run and not put DJI's name in risk. Now that they know that it works and theres a market they are gonna do it officialy as a DJI.

Nice video, but on checking the Tello is around $165Au while the Xiami I can buy for $89Au, thats a big price difference. In reality I can buy a GPS drone for the price of the tello and why would you have a optical positioning drone when you can have GPS. I have a DM107S optical positioning drone, its a bit quirky and the camera is ordinary at best but I do understand the fun in flying these little drones. My CG035 is still the best value for money drone I have found, can't wait to get the new model with optical positioning as well as GPS, best bang for your buck by a long way IMHO.

daniel yakobi but with tello you get more features like, the coding and the optical flow positioning yes the frame skipping is bad but a WiFi extender should make it better, you also have the image stabilization on the tello which gives you much better video. But the mitu is great also just lacks some features

Love the channel n reviews! Have a couple of questions. The Tello has sensors under its body which is used I presume to determine its height. Say that the height limit on the Tello is set to 2m. Q: if I fly the Tello 2m off the ground I am standing on which is say 10m up in a apartment or cliff. Fly it off the edge of the balcony or cliff would it detect that it is now 12m high instead of 2m and what would happen? Would it drop back down to its 2m restricted height or would it still maintain flying at 12m?

Hola, Mi experiencia personal es que NO se conecta por bluetooth al mando ni por wifi al Tello DJI. MIERDA DE DISEÑO. Estube dos horas intentando que se conectase y no pude. Lo llevé a la casa y alli lo probaron y tampoco se conectaba. Al final la conecxión al tello lo hace mediante una aplicacion china que esta en chino. Me devolvieron el dinero del mando pero no del drone. Lo tube que tirar a la basura y voy a hacer un video de DJI Tello drone DESTROZANDOLO CON UN MARTILLO. EL DJI Tello es una BASURA saludos Fer
