I'm always up for more obscure GKC content! And also poetry that you find moving in general. This was great; it really reminded me of the part in the Screwtape Letters where it says, to paraphrase- we want him to say at the end of his life "I did neither what I ought nor what I wanted".

Neaera appears in various Greek works, including comedies and poems, where she is often depicted as a beautiful and alluring woman. Her curls may symbolize her attractiveness. So "I'd have crowned Neaera's curls" I suppose means he'd have unashamedly heaped praise on beautiful women. Maybe? Thanks for the video. I forgot about this work!
