There's only so much you can do. There's no David Chambers to be Wavey Dave and slam into the goal post. There's no Leroy the twirler. You take those elements away and most of the shows were like this one. I agree they have stopped doing a lot of dancing for some reason. Maybe if they do more of that, it will be more entertaining. Bands nowadays are all about the zero and 5th quarters

I don’t see what others see when it comes to the Jsettes field show. No technique, and when they attempt it it looks sloppy. Bent knees, flexed feet, no transitions during the routine; if they do transition it is simple. Their field shows are always a complete eye sore. They should take off season intensives in ballet and jazz so they can up their game. I love their stands, however.

Every show has been the same all season really don't know what's going on with JSU........ what ever happened to the Dance Routines? We can always be sure at the end of each show we will get JSU Rocks the house. And I marched in the boom 88 -92 and we danced our ass off.

I definitely agree JSU doesn't rock the house like they used too. I don't enjoy the Boom on the field anymore. They have also been recycling parts of their fieldshows from the previous weeks. The Boom has been mediocre this year, it's like they barely practice anymore. They do just enough to get by. Its disappointing to say the least.

@@brandonb.4517 mediocre? Nah. The Boom is the only Swac band ranked in the top 5 every week by ESPN. Their shows are classier, not as much dancing at the ends, like in the past. I like the change. Otherwise people will be saying they're doing the same things, cant please everybody. They're drills are cleaner and more intricate now, and that's what I love about real marching bands
