I can appreciate the ENTIRE aspect of a band in performance, however, if it's their time time to shine, I never understood cymbal flashes while they are really getting down up front. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Excellent Showing though!

Not a bad show. I had an issue with the tiger run on. It was a bit slow but understandable and the first song played. Clean up the run. Good show. Now it's time to get into the season and do what the band does best. Show off!!!

When I marched in the Boom. We had the box drill that started at three corners of the field. Over recent years I’ve seen different entrances. But most bands enter the field the exact same way all performances. It’s their signatures.

@@jmproducing I see many of them either come from the sidelines or some come from the hole (end zone). Probably one of the only I see come on the same most of all the time is PV, but they also have different ways of spelling PVU so even they aren't always the same either... But your reply adds to my point. Tiger Run On is a nice drill. I remember our High School doing it, and I just knew we was the shit! But even then, we had several ways of not just coming onto the field, but "putting on a show!" Tiger Run on works best for those who don't see JSU often so it's new to them. But when done ALL THE TIME, and especially at home games as often as it's done, it just gets worn out. For instance, JSU's "FAMILY TIES" (????) Probably the best song I've ever heard on a rap song level in FOREVER... But done too many times, and it just becomes meh! The same with Tennessee State AOB. We love their sound etc. But when they do the same music frequently, we'd gladly hand the win to Kentucky State or whomever else they're playing. It goes the same way with the drill. I love to see it, cause it special and it's unique, but not everytime I turn around. Mix it up with some of those other methods to enter the field. I could understand flexing in front of BCU and FAMU, but for us other folk who has seen this play in y'all book, or the home fans, switch it up... For the "Powerhouse" JSU professes to be, or is even recognized for, I wouldn't expect JSU being a one trick pony.
