Things Matt and Haliey have in common: Matt's #1 fan was his grandfather. Haliey's #1 fan is her grandmother. Matt is from North Lewisburg, Ohio -- population 1200. Haliey is from Belfast, Tennessee -- population 800... and five miles from Lewisburg, Tennessee. They're both instinctive, natural comics from childhood.

@12_Feet_Up3 ай бұрын
Yeah, her improv skills are on point, especially for someone who hasn't practiced or trained. She might not turn into a pro standup overnight, but nobody does. If Haliey WANTS to pursue comedy, and puts in the work, I believe she absolutely has the raw ingredients needed to succeed in that field. And I didn't know much about her until this interview.
@jasondashneyАй бұрын
@@12_Feet_Up The only issue is that her funny always comes as a reaction to what the other person said. That's a very different thing than being the only side of the conversation. Hopefully Whitney can help her out a ton.

I’ve seen Haliey in a few interviews…She’s lovable! You brought the fun out in her! I can’t get enough of her, either! Comedy-great idea-for now she needs a catalyst. If you do a bit with her in Nashville in October, I think it will get her a thirst for stand up. It’s where her fame should take her because she’s so energetic, and that that accent!! her mannerisms- and sooo likable. People will be ready to have fun. Her meeting Matt Rife was precious! ❤
