What I've heard is the south Korean Aircraft was cleared by ATC to land in opposite direction. The plane was landing the wrong way, hence the brick wall.

Pilot could probably get fired for saying anything. If he is asked questions he hopefully knows enough to direct them towards the company's media relations department.

My dad was a member of the RCAF. my 1st transatlantic flight I was a year and a half years old.A military brat is always moving. I caught the wonderlust and I cant count how many planes I have been on.Easily tens of thousands of miles in the sky. Never once a problem. been in quite a few car crashes though
